Girona, Leverkusen, Aston villa hope they can stay on top and make a shocking season
Not happening. The season is very long and over half the road is left. One of the key factors in Leicester 15/16 and Napoli 22/23 was all the other 'giants' underperforming.
Real Madrid is just 2 points behind Girona
Aston Villa is not even at top
Nice already crumbled
Leverkusen is called Neverkusen for a reason
@@fotrjfr tho, the second half of the season boutta be wild
Girona is part of the city football group and that's the reason they're so good. They get better players and financial benefits. I personally don't like that and i don't think it's a good underdog run.
@@derEnzon They still only spent 22 millions which is less than what Leicester spent in their dream season. Being from the City group hardly means anything to how they are performing.
@@fotrj That's wrong. They get access to different players because they're part of the city group. It's the same with the red bull clubs. RB Salzburg had the player Sesko. Many different clubs wanted to buy him, but they declined their offers. After that they sold Sesko to RB Leipzig for far less money than other clubs had offered. This means being part of a football group like the city group or red bull, is actually a unfair reason you get better players for less money. So the fact that girona hasn't spend that much money, doesn't mean anything.
20 years after the magical 2004 season
Yep
- Porto and Mourinho glorious UCL victory and league victory
- Arsenal winning the Premier League unbeaten (Invincible season)
- Greece winning the Euro final vs Portugal
- Werder Bremen winning the Bundesliga
- Valencia winning La Liga
VFB Stuttgartbis also doing legendary

This season is becoming intense!!
I hope a couple of more teams make themselves strong teams, so they can make Laliga competitive.
Deja Vu is hitting me from The Valencia win
Really makes me realise the mismanagement of Blind in his last season or so at Ajax, as an fan. He also didn’t get game time at Bayern. He’s still a baller in the right setup.
It could be a crazy season indeed.
Girona winning La Liga
Aston Villa winng the Premier League
Nice winning Ligue 1
Bayer Leverkusen winning the Bundesliga
And maybe Scotland winning the Euros
The most unrealistic one is scotal getting out of group stage😂😂😂
@@flyboy746 I suppose its 'coming home' then is it? I'm only having a joke, no need to take it so seriously.

As a Madrid fan I think they deserve it as long as Madrid win next year
Those beats are so satisfying
Ngl hearing they're owned by city football group took iut the excitement
😅fr
It didn't because they have limited resources and have there most team from 2nd division. But it did take the excitement away from City haters and Real Madrid and Barca fans 😂
The hate against city is insane just becasue they owned by an Arab
@@PEROgamer25-pk7xmdid Girona pay for their scouting network? Second question, does that give them an advantage over la liga rivals not having to pay a penny to access it?
Girona played Barcelona off the pitch in the Camp nou. Played like Peps Barca back in the day
As a Barça fan I can’t even be that mad because it’s a great run so far and Barcelona isn’t what it used to be 😅
I hope they do
Girona has the same group behind it as ManCity
The only thing that makes me root against them is they are part of the city group of doom
Girona wouldn't be only one, today at 5:30 it's a game between Liverpool and Man U
Liverpool would defintely win like 2 or 3 nil
Barça losong 4-2 to Girona
Bayern losing 5 - 1 TO FREAKING FRANKFURT
It has been an insane week
And Aston Villa beating Man City and Arsenal.
2003/2004 all over again
Oil money. Remember Malaga FC where are they now? It's gonna be the same story
Man, Girona is a subsidiary of City. They get all the players and money from them, it's like playing with cheat codes on haha not the fairy tale we think of....
Because the Liga has 17 matches already played, 16-15 other major leagues... Now Girona has 44 points, Inter 41 with 1 match less, Leverkusen 39 being 2 matches behind
If girona comes first and city come second then city will have to play Europa League football next year. Now that would be mental
They wouldn't. City group owns less than 50% of girona so they can both compete. By your logic both leipzig and salzburg wouldn't be able to play in the ucl
I just checked and psv reached 40 points on the 3rd of december and Girona on the 10th of December you need to do your research brother
Girona is playing perhaps the most entertaining football out there. Simply amazing.
Girona new kings of La Liga 👑
Oil money does wonders, only reason man shitty have any success
Well this is different considering they're backed by city football group
Another Leicester City? Perhaps....But I'm still sceptical...Top 4 is already insane for these over-achievers.....
No way pep isn’t coaching this team. It’s impossible without him as coach we need to subpoena his brother
Consistent is the key🎉
Being owned by city helps
Last year every barça fan in my class was mocking the real madrid fans because girona won 4-1 against them but see who's laughing now
Top 5 leagues then he mentions psv 💀
Last season Girona finished 10th and only managed 13 wins in La Liga and drew 10 games and lost 15, for them to be top of the league right now and only lose 1 game all season so far is genuinely so impressive 👏🏼

But PSV aren't a new team that's never won the Eredevisie, they have always been a giant in the Netherlands.
I can't tell you the last time a club won the first 15 games straight in the Eredivisie. 15 games undefeated, sure - but 15 wins is quite a feat. The amount of goals made and conceded says a lot as well.
@@Locormus2 Bayern did 23 matches when they won the sextuple
@@Pan4o Ah yes, the year when Bayern won 23 matches in the Eredivisie
@@Sphagetti__ok smartass, what about Ajax 1971/72, that's when Cruyff played and his team set the foundations of modern football, they did a 26 matches without a loss. Now you're going to say that's when they played against dinosaurs, well there's the 1994/95th season, that's modern football by all definitions, where they won the UCL against the mighty Milan who were one of the best if not the best team in Europe that decade, what's their record you ask, it's 25 matches without a loss. My point is it's not that staggering of a record for PSV, when you consider they're historically one of the biggest teams in the Netherlands, that's why I mentioned Bayern, because they too are a big club in their respective nation and 15 matches unbeaten is not that surprising when you consider the fact that they can do 25 and more which is much more impressive and rare for a team to dominate for so long. If PSV pass 20 matches then yeah I will consider it impressive, but still they're not a new team that sprung to prominence.
@@Pan4o Locormus2 said that they couldn't tell you the last time a club won 15 games in a row in the eredivisie. Maybe you can start with Ajax 1971/72 then instead of mentioning Bayern and then being a dickhead about it after I call you out on it.
Having the cult icon Daley Blind in your defensive roster is no doubt going to help your team to success. Such an underrated player.
Build up play is insane
How is blind worth less than 22m
@@teabsbytoerkoeveluwe1490 yeah he fits PERFECTLY into these transition tactics...you never know who the playmaker is, and Blind excels at that in a 5 men defence. Beautiful team and football, it even beats my grudge against M.City haha
Everyone saying that it's because of City group. But I think it's because of the Manager coach Michel, because they spent limited and have most of there old team
CFG will have made a significant difference to improving the club but the manager and players deserve the credit.
CFG knows what they are doing, they spent Smartly , makes tons of money in the process
It is because of the city group. The have a few loans from other city group clubs. The share the same scouting team so if there is a good player upcoming, man city can sign them then either sell them to girona for cheap or loan them. Also they also can move coaches from one team to another.
Maybe but there is something named multicausality
Girona Top of the table: 😃
Managed by City football group: 😒
Spent 22 million and obv 12 other LaLiga clubs spent more than that.
Net spend only 4m
I hate every Football Club which is owned by somebody else. It should be illegal, especially to avoid sport washing and money shit. 🧐
So that means City Football club is just better with the same limited resources 🗿. But I think it's because of the coach
Cry 😂😂😂
Doesnt seem possible. Bofatago in Brazil bottled the league being ahead 14 points woh 15 games left, ultimately finishing 5th. Looks like Girona will qualify for ucl but not the league, not at all.
Where do you think they will finish, 4th ?
I think 2nd or 3rd @@junaidali4704
@@junaidali4704 yeah probably third or fourth
tbf considering they don't have too much games to play compared to the big three of spain i'd say even third, also many big teams struggle with injuries

as a villa fan it would be amazing if leverkusen won bundesliga girona won la liga and villa win premier league. but honestly the fact that girona and villa will probably get ucl spots is just amazing to me
Girona Leverkusen Stuttgart and Aston Villa are playing very well this season I hope they keep repeating this
I think the biggest surprise in Bundesliga definitivly is Stuttgart! They played Relegation last year, now playing on Leverkusen/Bayern Level while they spent like 0 penny.
Leverkusen is no surprise if you saw the magnificent deals and second half of last year!
@@LaMartiniquee yeah and Stuttgart for me the biggest surprise this season than Leverkusen Aston Villa and Girona

Bologna too
Probably finished top 4 end of the season but to win the La Liga is seems unlikely
girona=city group

i hope this clubs can hold on until the end of the season to stop the domination of top clubs in europe...football are full of surprises nowadays..underdog teams are rising❤❤❤
