Right for anyone else struggling to beat this guy the answer is simply. STOP FOLLOWING HIM. First time round he continually reset on me but after a tip from reddit i stopped chasing him and kept my back to the centre. If you do that he is EASY! Just don't let him blast you out to the edge and have a good healer in the band and it's easy work.
PLS I THOUGHT THE THIRD PART WAS THE LAST PART WHEN I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A FOURTH PART I DIED.

@@abcabckabc I figured it out! you just have to be really close to him in order for the fight to count. Just make a good amount of food and you’ll be set!

part 4 was pretty easy compared to all the other parts
The fact that they don't even give you a hint to find the 2nd gem makes me very upset.. Just to find out it was on top of the shrine thingy. Ugh! That's just cruel.
Btw for people finding the dome doesn't drop when you have the puzzle in the right pattern it is still a bug. I had it right first time and it wasn't working. I looged back in the next day and it still wasn't working. I logged out, restarted the game the same day and then it worked so it's deffo a bug still. Pretty fking annoying.. just imagine if there were no youtube to check these things!

I've done parts 1 to 3 thanks to this wonderful person, you are a life saver😭 I just needed the rain to stop in the maguu kenki area so I am gonna take a break from this quest. It's such an annoying one! But thanks to you I've at last been able to complete the parts I need
Whoever make those elemental sight go front when the orb actually top of the shrine deserve to punch so fucking hard!
As this video shows which pillar is first, second and so on, I will just say how I set up my pillars. Maybe you will find it helpful:
First (most shiny):
Orientation: West (use the minimap for that - stand behind the pillar and face your camera the way it does)
Elevation: Middle
Second:
Orientation: South-West
Elevation: Up
Third:
Orientation: South
Elevation: Down
Forth:
Orientation: South-East
Elevation: Down
Fifth:
Orientation: North-East
Elevation: Middle
Sixth:
Orientation: West
Elevation: Middle
Then go back to the first one (most shiny) and hit it with primary hit. Good luck!

@@khoi2189 I tried camping the middle... Did nothing... I just lowered my world level got all my bursts ready got all my atk boosting food and I pretty much one banged him before he could do it 😂

Is it just me? Or is anyone else's elevation not going the way it's supposed to? The on the second piller, you press elevation once. The thing goes down. Bit when you press a second it goes up. Mine just goes further down. It isn't going the way I want and I can't complete the challenge.

@@Derkous yes. I had don't know how but I played around with it. I think you have to fix the rotation of it, not the piller. Also watch the vid multiple times so you can see how their piller looks, vs ur own. Good luck!

@@raine_coat try setting the piller back how it was before you changed it. Make it look EXACTLY LIKE how it is in the vid. Then. Move it accordingly. Make sure after every movement you hit the main piller to see where the eltro ball goes. Just gotta keep playing with it. Good luck!

Please help me... When i got back from months of break. I saw that new areas of the map was unlocked. Of course like anyone would, i went out on a discovery without doing any quest just to check out the scenery. Along that path i have ended up grabbing some of the quest item for what you are doing in this video. Not this part but the earlier parts. I believe the one before this one. Im stuck on the 3rd one because im missing the Pillar Pearl because i guess i used it or picked it up without even doing the quest and probably ended up using it on a different one. I retraced my steps and couldnt find another one. I tried to go ahead to the 4th one which is the one you are at right now and the Barrier isnt even there... Im stuck basically. Please help me. I tried to see if i can file a report but it doesnt seem to have a custom reporting way. Didnt think i had to be soo careful just going around discovering areas and picking up stuff...

Just stay in midle (the spot when the boss spawn) while fighting the boss.. if he's use charge attack, you can block it with the (things) in the middle so he's not going too far and restart again.

the third pillar just doesn't go down for me. It does have 3 levels of elevation, but all of them point too high. It either bends backwards really far, bends back so that it's almost horizontally, or it bends a bit more forward. But it just DOESNT POINT DOWN ENOUGH to stop shooting at the sky. What do i even do now???? i tried every level of elevation and it just doesnt work ._.
if you still need help try reloading the game! (exiting the game and opening it again) if ur on mobile make sure to swipe it away from the task manager
@@berbranf Thank you, i figured it out! Had to restart the game two times tho because the first time it refused to work even tho everything was hitting each pillar correctly, but it worked out in the end! Phew, I'm so glad to finally be done with this quest man...

The cutscene never triggers whenever I do these quest so I have to log out then log back in and then the whole thing resets and it’s so annoying…

For everyone who had the same bug as me (where you did this exactly right but it still didn’t work) - log out and back in again, then one of the pillars will have moved (the second last one, it was tilted to shoot into the sky rather than to the last pillar). Change this and then it should work. At least it did for me!

For the one on 2:20, I did that right but the head won’t go forward, it only goes way back, a little bit back and then center, it’s pissing me off so much 😭
