She hopped up on stage during our sound check and rocked out a couple of numbers with us while we warmed up. Get Lucky - Daft Punk and Standing In The Way Of Control - The Gossip. So let's raise the bar, and our [tequila shot] to the stars... "Crowd surf, crowd surf, crowd surf..."

"There was a big party at my house one night. I got really drunk, and we moved to the tiki bar that's 'round the corner. I hadn't performed in ages, and there's a house band there playing, and my friends are tossing me shots, so I went up onstage. Two days later, I get a phone call from my manager. Someone had filmed me singing and screaming and taking shots. And it ended up on MTV News. I was like, "Oh, shit."

It is really nice to see her performing for the fun of it without worrying about the business aspects of what she is so passionate about doing.
When Florence is on tour she drinks nothing but tea and her performances are utter perfection (saw her 4 times on the Ceremonials tour). So to see her here cutting loose and tossing empty shot glasses is hilarious, and I'm so happy to see her having such fun!

I know the band members are all responsible, professional, serious and working and doing a legit soundcheck, but damn if I was there I would have jumped up and down, screamed multiple times, basically in my mind cancelled soundcheck and gotten myself some tequila and just partied my ass off on that stage with that wonder of a woman! And I'm the most serious perfectionist nitpicky person you'll ever meet when it comes to soundcheck. I'm the one who is fussy as hell about everything being done right or I'll hate you to the core (it's my professional deformation for being both a performer and a sound engineer).
This isn’t Florence and the machine performing, this was filmed a night Florence was really drunk and had a party, went to a local pub and jumped up on stage to perform with the pub band

I was just addressing the soundcheck comment as there’s a misconception that this was the Florence the band performing, when in reality it was just Florence the girl having fun at a pub. Sorry I’m autistic so I can misunderstand comments sometimes. It’d be a great time to have been there and witnessed it, would’ve been fun
