MHJ is the talent the Bears need.
Keep Fields and draft MHJ
I agree. Get Marv, and watch this offense score.
Well spoken
I want Harrison too trade 1 pick for more draft capital this year and next.
The only generational talent in the draft is MHJ.
Defo
I say get a haul! Build the entire team!
yup
Defo
If the Bears draft Caleb Williams, the odds are they will not be a playoff team next year. Williams possess all of the flaws Fields does but you will miss out of Fields elite running ability.
Fields contributes 33-35% of the Bears running statistics which leads the team over the last 2 years. This means the Bears will need to sign one of the top FA running backs. They will miss out on an Elite WR or DE prospect, which will cause them to overpay for one or both in free agency. Plus, we are not even mentioning the O-line issues. All of these issues mean, they will probably keep one of Eddie Jackson, Lucas Patrick, Justin Jones or Cody Whitehair.
😂
One aspect of Caleb Williams no one talks about . Caleb's Coach is Lincoln Riley, a great 8 man football coach , and 8 man football is all offense and no defense. Here in Oklahoma I have seen QB's come and go, that air raid offense developed by Lincoln Riley got modified by Nick Saban to help defenses, which has put a crimp in the air raid offense. Spencer Rattler made this comment after his first year at U. South Carolina ".... I learned more about defenses from coach Shane Beamer in one spring ball practice than I did with Lincoln Riley in 2 years at Oklahoma..." If Caleb is such a Messiah how and why did USC go 7/5 this year? 2 Great kept secrets in this draft Spencer Rattler & T J Daniels
If I had the choice between Caleb Williams and Spencer Rattler I'd choose Williams. But that's just me. Besides, if Rattler doesn't make it as a football player he can always go into politics because he has the perfect last name for tat line of work.
Fields..... ✊🏾
To me, it’s a wash as to whether we get Caleb or keep Fields. With Fields, you get so much more in draft picks for players we need. If you draft Caleb, you won’t have a 2nd round pick, which limits us to get a top Center, Edge and Safety. 3rd and 4th round players are a crap shoot. With Fields and trading back a spot or two, you can get MHJ and Edge at 9, a second round Safety, and third round Center. Done!
Preach 😮.. Marvin looks so good 6'4 22 MPH!!!! We would have 2 outta 3 fastes players in NFL!
There is no guarantee that Williams goes Number 1. A team might love MHJ so much and move into the number 1 spot to get him
Ehhhh I don’t see anyone putting up that draft capital to take a receiver . It’s one thing if you have the pick, but no one is giving up that draft capital for a receiver .
Yeah won't happen. Easier to save capital and let him fall.
😂😂😂…ain’t no one gonna break the bank for a WR
Williams going no.1 to Washington Maye going 2 we draft MHJ at 3
@@TreMiller23 I hope so
Marvin Harrison is the pick the Bears should get.
Bears don't ned a QB, bears need help across the board. Trade, get a haul, draft MHJ or even Odunze and build!
You don't give away the guy who has IT mentally , for the guy who looks like he doesn't . Leave it at that.
Caleb fever is going thru the roof. Haul keeps getting bigger for keeping Fields. Why listen to scrub Rice Junior over DJ Moore?
They are not trading this pick. They already did that last season. This pick will be for a qb.
@@dokedoker3340 CW never said that. You’ve never heard him come out and say anything about none of the franchises so stop pushing false propaganda.
Washington wants Fields
They are both Bias I dont think the Bears will give them much weight when they make a final decision.
@@dokedoker3340 Colin’s show is based off ratings. If Caleb said this he would’ve came out and said this when he declared for the draft. Instead he released a statement through a real analyst Ian rapport that he’s looking forward to playing for whoever drafts him. Stop believing these reporters who are trying to push narratives for ratings and become shock jocks to tear down the athletes. This guy hasn’t done or said anything yet you all who are JF fans are looking to believe anything a content creator says in order to bash CW yet the guy just wants to play football. If he’s drafted by the bears he deserves full support and faith from all bears nation.
Williams is Manziel2. Manziel was spectacular in college.
😂are you allowed out of the house alone
I think you nailed it brotha. You got a new subscriber. Bear down.
Only 2 #1 qbs have won the big game! Chicago needs to get away from this qb carrousel. Keep Fields and aquire talent around him! Trade the pick 1 or 2 spots and land MHJ! Then go after the biggest needs through the draft! Before the draft even starts, aquire Derrick Henry!
Fun fact: Fields has 38 fumbles in 40 games
Stop lying
Fun fact. Check out Williams' fumbles in less games.
@@perryj8850 then draft Maye, there are other nfl ready QBs ya know
@@Michael-uu7zq Have you scouted Maye? Fields is far better than any qb in this draft.
More fun facts Fields passing numbers for his 1st 3 years are worse than Trubiskys 1st 3 years.
Caleb or Justin, I wished they can get Marvin Harrison as well by trading up their #9
Would be nice. Maybe if they package Justin and a 4th.
Hell naw trade down twice draft MHJ
@@MikeJWichitahell naw
Smart man
If we pick Caleb at #1 he better be damn worth every single pick we give up to get him.
Last year we got Darnell Wright, DJ Moore, Tyrique Stevenson, and a 2nd next year for FREE. Completely FREE, since this years first overall offsets the first overall we traded last year.
In other words, I'm concerned that unless Caleb is literally Patrick Mahomes, there's no way he could possibly be worth what we're giving up to draft him. This team is more than just a QB away from a super bowl, and I really hope we can play this the smart way.
I believe in this front office, and I'll support whatever they do here, but I'm really hopeful we get it right.
Everyone is trying to sow doubt on Caleb. But he was tied with Washington going into the 4th quarter, and Washington ended up in the national championship game. He is a very big time player.
Sir, you are correct, MHJ is and must be the 🐻 pick. I am a Bears fan. There is no way JF is playing in the PAC 12 that his numbers wouldn't be way better than Caleb, as he is just a better QB than Caleb.
I beseech, the Bears to get MHJ, and build around JF.
😂
Compare Caleb Williams college stats to several quarterbacks drafted in the last couple of years. Including Will Greer, who is not even a starter in the pros Caleb Williams is a good college player, but he’s not as special as a lot of people are making him out to be. Compare the stats and look at the numbers. Keep Justin Fields. He is taller, he is faster, he is stronger, and he plays in cold weather, and one of the most important things to realize is that his stats in every category have improved every single year he has been in the league.
stats are for losers, just ask Mahomes who compares really well to Caleb in stats and ability
Too many red flags with CW. Poles can trade down to #2 or #3 and speed up rebuilding process by at least a year or two with additional draft picks.
I dont see how they can justify caleb play from only college ... you have prove yourself in the NFL ... we saw justin be murdered over & over & over & over again only to watch him get up and throug dimes caleb wants to avoid that at all cost scary a** justin went through it (unfortunately) this is the type of player that make him a Bear ... a rookie wants no part of that ... facts
Huh? That grammar my God
Justin Fields' best college year he was throwing to Chris Olave, who was drafted 11th overall and has had consecutive 1000 yd NFL seasons; he's great. Caleb, by contrast, has been throwing to Brendan Rice, who is expected to be drafted this year in the FIFTH round.
The scout, Daniel Kelly, who bagged on Caleb said this about Spencer Rattler in a tweet: "I’ve loved him from the first time I saw him play at Oklahoma back on 2020 game film." It's easy to assume Kelly is butt-hurt that Caleb played Rattler out of a job at OKLA, so of course he's going to rip Caleb on petty things like painting his fingernails.
I like getting a haul for #1. I think Oduze is very close to Harrison Jr. I agree with you that we could probably get Oduze or Nabers at 9 and maybe one of the big 2 OL guys. If Washington offered us 2 2024 seconds and a 2025 1st and 2026 second, which has a decent chance, I would do that in a minute and I might keep trading downward to 6. At 6 we could probably get the second stud OL or Oduze and then we would have at the least pick 9 and 2 high second rounders this year. If we stayed at 2, I might take the best OL Ault. Bear Down! Let the bidding begin.
They are not trading this pick. They already did that last season. Keep dreaming
I would take that bet in a minute.
@@raprevenue1922 They're trading for the haul. Get over it.
Justin, number 2 pick don’t trust that anyone else will try to beat us out for Harrison. Bower at 9 or a Safety to replace Jackson; as far as other Tight Ends I believe everyone is sleeping on Kansas’ Sinnott.
For the record, QB Steve Young said his girlfriend once painted his toes red, and it became a superstitious thing that he kept doing during a win streak. Not my thing, but...whatever...it doesn't mean it makes him incapable of throwing a football. That being said, we already have a better QB in the organization. Fans were chanting, "We want Fields" -- not "We want Caleb." There is something to be said for loyalty and continuity. "For better or worse..." It's not "For better or...we trade you for a 2nd round pick despite not surrounding you with enough talent to reach your full potential." Fields is the better player of the 2. He has the support of the fan base. He is our guy (drafted). Drafting Caleb would mean a write off the 1st year for him to develop and adjust to the speed of the pro game. Start the rookie contract cycle over fresh. But we already have plenty of cap space and draft assets. So even at his best, it's a step back for the team with no significant benefits. Bringing in *ELITE* coaches to help Fields reach his full potential. He still has the upside to be a top5 or top10 QB. His running ability makes him special/unique. Took guys like R. Cunningham and Steve Young a while to become better passers than runners. The most logical decision is sticking with Fields. On top of that, we can get a generational haul for teams in love with the "generational cry baby." That makes it a no brainer. Fields and Maserati Marv and more future picks.....or Caleb and...Velus(??).....come on.....seriously?!? lol
If this is true, I’d rather keep Fields. Get the 3 1st, maybe a 2nd & or Jonathan Allen. Go ahead & draft MHJ at #2 go Defensive or Offensive line at 9. Maybe resign Ngakoue, or Burns if he’s not tagged.
You should go on swiftys show
I want to see the Bears play the second week of February no matter who the QB is. With that, the Bears can solidify the offensive side of the football in the draft and FA. Take MHJ (2 or 3) Naber/Rome (9). Grab Jackson Powers-Johnson with the trade-down pick (40ish). There will be another "generational qb" next year or the year after. If JF1 doesn't work out the team is built to plug a QB in.
MHJ is the generational talent we need.. problem is he wouldn't drop pass 2.. Washington will take Caleb or MHJ... Not May
Just means you can get Bo in the later rounds
Bo? Dude I guess you haven't heard. Bo stunk up the Senior Bowl and practices. Stock plummeted
Trading Fields and drafting Caleb Williams is reinventing the wheel... not something the Bears need to do right now. Marvin Harrison, Jr. likely has a little experience with Fields considering they both came from Ohio State. Caleb Williams looks too much like Johnny Manziel for me to be comfortable with him. NFL QBs have to play within a system. When they don't, they sit on the bench or are in the hospital. I am not convinced Williams can play in any NFL system. Besides, most QBs come into the NFL and carry a clipboard/tablet computer for a couple of years before they start. There are not many Joe Burrow or Trevor Lawrence QBs in this draft that are ready to start on day one. In fact, I don't think we will see that kind of talent for a long time. The Bears need to address their issues and save the high-rolling antics for Jerry Jones and the gamblers in Las Vegas.
Knocking Caleb Williams for going back to school for another year is one of the most stupid things I've ever heard! Williams learned new things and gained more experience as a starting QB, as opposed to Mark Sanchez (13 games started in college, best known for the Butt Fumble), Mitch Trubisky (13 college games started, best known for being drafted ahead of Mahomes), Trey Lance,
Anthony Richardson. Those players all thought they could handle the NFL with almost no college experience. They were wrong. Caleb Williams did nothing but help himself by returning to school.
One of the stupidest things I've heard is that he would have been eligible for last year's draft. He wasn't. He had no choice but to return for this season. Caleb lovers need to do some homework.
Let's get MJH and pick up Miller Moss in the 7th round
Washington and Bears already have a hush-hush deal to trade 1for 2. Plus, a ransom for this.
Please I really hope that they keep Justin Fields 🙏
I believe jay cutlers opion to ... and jay cutler is not the only one who said that about his body language and bad Tone
Cutler said that? 😅 Well, he's the expert when it comes to body language and bad tone. 😂
@@BennysThoughtsAt least he has it honest. 😂
There is some question what they do with the 9. That’s a really interesting question. Everyone coming out of Mobile (and simple logic) says the Bears are trading Fields after the Combine and drafting Williams…but the 9 is super intriguing.
Yeah, there's a lot of people who don't want to admit it but the Caleb show is almost here. I think Justin will be traded at our just after the combine. Caleb's going to be amazing!!!
@@mikeipson1554no he wont. Fields will still be here
They are using this to get a huge haul!! They keeping JF1 Baby! Bear the F Down!!!! 🐻
@@mikeipson1554 Not sure about the amazing part but the curiosity of Caleb's talent with where the Bears are now is too much for Poles to ignore. The floor is the playoffs for the Bears
Everyone is saying they're trading Fields? Who? He's going nowhere.
Im not a caleb guy i say keep fields n get mhj and fill the trenches. The crying doesnt bother me about caleb, the painting nails a little bit what really bothers me about him is his ego his father being too involved with demands. But the most of all that bothers me which nobody talks about is when he has a bad game he refused to talk to the media. We have nvr seen JF1 not take losses like a man he has always said we have to get better i have to get better he does not blame his teamates he takes all questions and doesnt let anything bother him even though he hasnt had a fair shake with the oline and the coaching from nagy n getsy. JF1 should stay and if u show him loyalty now he aint gonna forget that if we do keepem n eventually have to extend him.
Can’t pass on MHJ…No way
I feel like MHJ is the more likely "generational talent" in this draft. QB is always a much bigger risk for so many reasons. I don't care at all that Caleb paints his nails..that's a more old school type of person concern tbh and feels at least mildly homophobic when people bring it up as some major red flag, so to me, that's not a valid concern. The other stuff, well, that might be more valid, but even without the other concerns, QB is just a very hard draft pick to hit a homerun with regardless. I'd trade down, get some more picks in this draft, antoher 1st round for next year (maybe a veteran at a position of need?)..see if we can get 2nd for this draft as well. If 2 or 3 teams really want Williams, or even Maye, then the Bears can get a haul for that 1st overall pick and they can likely get it by trading down to 2 or 3. In that case, you get MHJ, you see who is available at 9 (I'd be tempted to double dip on WR talent, maybe Odunze?, if not, then I"d consider adding an edge to pair with Sweat, I like Chop Robinson from PSU and he's likely to be there...not sure about the other top options at edge). We need more picks, we need a Center (3rd round most likely), we're going to need a safety, we need OL help/depth at the very least. We need more than a QB can fix right now.
Marvin falls down after the catch but when Nabers catches it’s a different gear.By the way the slander of Caleb a kid is down right hilarious but it’s cool he’ll still be in Chicago smh 😂Thank goodness Ryan loves Caleb… Caleb’s mom is a nails tech so he’s supporting his mom. When Caleb loss in the 2022 season he didn’t cry when their playoff hopes ended because he had another with his guys and team. This year when he loss it ended a chapter in his collegiate career which he hoped it would end with a NATIONAL TITLE so that’s what made it emotional to him a kid.He wants it more than anyone!!Greatness!! He’ll have at least 10yrs with the Bears to obtain it.Poles didn’t draft Justin so why would he hitch his career path up to inconsistent Justin hell he can get another contract with Caleb.Let that shower over you ppl.
Johnny Football never looked good. All he could do was throw jump balls to Evans.
Draft Harrison end of story
I am a Marvin Harrison Jr guy but Nabers and Odunze are not that far behind in talent and actually I think Nabers is they best route runner out of all the wide receivers in the draft. He was literally ungaurdable at LSU and boosted Jayden Daniels numbers. So if the Bears end up with him, I'll be more than satisfied.
I agree. When I watched a lot of tape I actually came away as an Odunze fan over MHJ
Go watch Brendan Rice, Jerry Rice'sson from USC. DJ Moore 2.0. Hidden jewel
If the Bears can get a haul with 2 first round draft choices for their pick, do it and look for a QB next year.
MHJ END OF CONVERSATION
@Baignotbag, you’re just repeating what you hear, Dollar 💵 to 🍩 I’ve bet you barely seen Caleb play you blindly following the hype.
That makes you the dumbest bettor on the planet because my favorite who's is every college football game.
Harrison Jr is the real generational talent in the drsft. Caleb is the primadonna of the draft. Poles and fluse suck at drafting. Compare the nfc north teams draft picks the past few yrs. Bears have drafted the worst players out of all nfc north teams.
Funny how absolutely sure you are MHJ is a 100% can't miss sure thing but CW isn't
Not sure why you believe that. Poles has done very well drafting our Oline and especially our DB's. Got Gill in the 7th too. Only miss has been Velus. I expect Noah Sewell to be solid, when he gets a chance. Pickins, Scott and Roschon aren't shabby either. Don't forget that we only had one 1st Rd pick over the last 2 years.
@blacksheepmiracle1433 Jamir Gibbs, Sam LaPorta, Deion Branch, Jordan Addison.. and the list goes on of nfc north draft picks better then Poles draft picks. By the look at your comments your podcast feels more like a Fields fan club! You spend 1 minute promoting Williams and 6 minutes with a negative take! Very non biased podcast!
The one scout you brought up said those things because when they are in the war room they need to debate possible flaws. We need to stop overeacting to his personality or we will make the same mistake we made with Mahomes. Have you tought the new generation at all, I have? They are different and they feel differently than the older generations.
I want MHJr however imagine drafting Caleb and keeping Fields and letting them battle it out? That probably sounds crazy but havent heard that option.
I've covered that twice but it feels like Justin's camp wouldn't support that and might cause a problem.
Keep fields trade down with the commanders get Marvin Harrison jr. the best player in this class also get their 2nd rounder It isn't like we need several good players to compete at the highest level
The decision is not between drafting CW or keeping JF1. It’s get rid of JF1 no matter what, and draft the best quarterback & WR.
I think we need Caleb Williams. We need a generational talent QB on a rookie deal who has earned the respect of his teammates. I recommend we trade Fields for a first round pick to a team who wants him.

For subpar qb play ppl sure are attached which is weird to me considering the fact of having a team who was good enough to be in the postseason but failing to make it because of his play.
I believe Caleb Williams is the player the bears should take at number 1
Generational QB effects the game more than a generational WR. Need to go with the QB.
That may be true but what are the odds that Caleb Williams will be a future hall of famer……no matter who drafts him ?
A generational haul will affect the game and the TEAM in the long term, more than just a generational QB. Need to go with the haul while grabbing MHJ in the process. The Bears can possibly get two 2nd rounders this year plus a 1st next year from WASH just to move down to the 2nd overall pick this year. If WASH thinks Caleb is their guy, I can see this happening, especially with other offers on the table from other teams. The hyping up of Caleb will work in the Bears' favor in the end as it will continue to drive the price up for the #1 pick in a trade.
