Some tips for avoiding his attacks: Whenever he's doing his standard attacks like the hammer slam or swipe, walking in a circle to the right helps you avoid him really well If you can get wax quail that item is a godsend for this fight, it makes you lunge forward when you jump while sprinting That spinning attack he did before you died can be avoided by just not stepping on the lines, it has a vertical hitbox so jumping won't save you there As long as you're playing safe you can't get one shot, the game has this mechanic called one shot protection That little bit of your healthbar on the far left with the bars shows the lowest your health can go with one attack Keep in mind there are no s, so you can get hit by a weak attack immediately after and still die As for the fourth phase, I won't spoil the gimmick of the fight but my number one piece of advice is USE THE PILLARS FOR COVER Without spoiling the phase, he can basically melt you in under a second from across the arena depending on the circumstances Hope to see your first time beating him!
@ I get it lol, had a similar experience just with the final boss of the survivors of the void DLC Huntress is a good character for beating the game easier, she has amazing mobility, auto-aim, and some really useful damage options like her boomerang The only downside is lower health, but that’ll honestly help you get better at avoiding attacks Make sure to sprint whenever you’re not attacking, it’s basically impossible to not get hit when you’re not sprinting
Prioritize fully looting a stage. Check every bit of the map for more items. Also scrap the ones that provide little to no immediate benefit. Like the 4 bison steaks you had. If it’s not immediately providing damage, healing, or mobility, you’re probably fine with scrapping it. If it’s situational like war banner, old war stealth kit, and razor wire, scrap it. You’ll learn how to evaluate items effectively as you play more. The more items you have, the stronger you are most of the time. And the game scales faster the more stages you go through. But if you collect items, you will outscale it 95% of the time.

Thank you! I appreciate the advice. It's honestly been a bit discouraging, so thanks!

Before you fight him, loop at the primordial teleporter by interacting with the segments around its centre
Do you find that helpful? I have tried it and just died, so I haven't done it since.
@PerazzoBrothersGaming yes definitely
you should have WAY MORE items at this point in the game
Lol yea… 33 items at 40 minutes, his fate was already sealed…
Fact bro should have triple the items
That is good to know! 😅 I'll work on that.

That's good to know. I felt like I was falling behind the longer it took me, but maybe I just a bad build those times.
