They’re definitely going to hire an experienced screenwriter, they will not have a UA-camr write their script BUT they definitely need Nick in the room as a lore/context consultant, not many people know more about the series! I hope you’re involved! They already have a tough hill to climb with just the idea of live action Naruto

i am honestly terrified about this live action, Naruto is a series that is more special than anything else to me, and i feel like they are gonna completely fuck it up, but if i knew you got the chance to help (and they listened to you even a little bit) i would feel so more at ease in Lionsgate finding the soul and essence of the show just like you said, if anyone makes a petition to get you in the room ill sign it in a heartbeat!

Also few wonderful things I agree with and a few observations…
The argument the subject makes about “you can’t study for something to get a job for you have to do it” and identifying who he’d hire, he’s very obviously never hired anyone. Experience is typically valued over education in most areas but without connections or education you won’t get experience.
His entire argument is irony. He talks about MC like he has no experience and is punching up and not staying in his lane. But the commentary talks like he’s the person who knows better.
A SME (subject matter expert) is someone who has respect and has put in work to understand the material.
I’d say someone who reviews all aspects of the material including games, videos and manga and re-reviews is likely a expert on the subject matter in this case which is Naruto.
Mr Beast is a SME on building a successful you tube brand and attracting an audience with his type of content. You wouldn’t include him in the Naruto live action to advise what Narratively makes sense, but he’s a marketing and promotion genius on the platform. The views and subscriber count are proof of that.
Even if MC, Six and Steven didn’t know the Naruto material inside and out. They’re subscriber base size makes them SME on what the popular views and opinions are.

I feel it would go a long way to ingratiating the fanbase to projects like this if they grabbed a whole bunch of well known fan talents and made them extras. The characters who get blown up in group shots or fill space in the background would be great cameo roles for those faces. It may help to have people who are passionate about the project and comfortable on camera, but may not be as familiar with this type of filmmaking.

Well I have watched many of your videos and they help me a lot in understanding the lore of naruto and its characters especially Tobirama who most just seem to boil down to a racist who hates Uchiha's so honestly though it may never happen I am rooting for you.
The one thing that really helped the OP live action was because the people who were important to the production of the show happened to be really huge fans of the show that were already established and experienced in the production of Hollywood shows and movies.

When I was first watching I thought it was really far fetched and kind of absurd but you have convinced me with logic and reasonable examples of why you would be an asset to the movie. The hate video was actually crazy but it’s probably because he didn’t understand what you were suggesting. You’re basically asking to be a consultant of the movie with hella Naruto knowledge, makes sense.

That guys video is crazy. Especially since Matt Owens, one of the One Piece LA show runners, made a huge effort to do a marketing circuit by reaching out to One Piece youtubers. Hell, Matt even showed up on Reverie (an 8 hour long live stream with a bunch of notable One Piece creators that happens a couple times a year) for a while to just talk about the series. A large part of the reason people had faith in the Live Action was that there was really clear evidence that the creators were fans, and were actively interested in what the fans thought of the project. The Naruto live action should have someone as knowledgeable as Nick on staff, to help gauge how fans will react to the changes they will inevitably make.
Bro I started watching you a year ago your very intellectual you well spoken your an amazing story teller and an amazing Naruto expert/analyst and I take the things you say very seriously your videos not only keep me entertained but I learned so much more about my favorite anime ever I grew up with this anime and you have opened my eyes to way more than just Naruto. Voice acting, I think, will be crucial. Missing the mark on a "Narutoooo, Sasukeeeeeee" back n forth. Takes the steam away. Nostalgia + Immersion + wardrobe + voice...Special effects I trust modern cgi, but prefer practical effects. Or overlay cgi over practical.

Either naruto be cast as japanese people or random asian actors or half asian actors. I would be ok with that. As long as the characters are not be played by white people or indian like 2010s last airbender or a middle eastern who are miscasting, blame the casting director for miscasting. The cloud village or waterfall village characters be played by black or indian or any dark skin actors. Examples Fuu, bee, ei, darui, omoi, karui, mabui and more

A passion that would motivate you to want to participate to make sure that the adaptation is a faithful one, not to chase clout or something like that. With that said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to further your own career or be recognized as someone who can help with similar projects in the future. All of this to say, I think it is amazing that you are using your platform to try to be a part of the project and make sure that it is done correctly. As a fan of you and your content, I really do hope you get some role as a consultant on context or what-have-you. You know so much, your writing ability is good, and you understand the IP and what's important. But in general, I just think they need somebody. The OPLA was good because Oda was basically in charge and the crew were fans. If a LA is gonna be good, I think the author or understudy should be involved in some way!

I'm really curious about how the costumes will look. I've never loved the fashion in Naruto (at least for the main designs. They tend to look better in casual clothing.) but I think a lot of them will lend themselves well to real fabrics and textures. As long as they don't focus too hard on making it look like a cartoon (as opposed to "like the cartoon") it could work really well.
First half was legitimately interesting, skipped the react bit for the follow up because I didn't need to waste time on that guy's "takedown". Keep it up, king.
