He went against a comp with multiple burst mobile burst champs.
Bloodline is fine for such build, the thing is that he wasn't "ahead" to keep building damage "glasscanon" only like that.
If he went Death's dance as second or third item, he wouldve performed better when all-inning against riven who was easily bursting him.
Deathsdance + maw would let him capitalize on his lifesteal better.
