I don't blame you in the slightest for buying them off a scalper. Like when the drop first got announced I was like "oh shit im going to miss out becuz EVERYONE will want these" so I was bargaining with myself how high was too high. Like I was ready to go straight to ebay and buy after the drop. So when I was one of the few people in the galaxy to actually get one it was a relief. I would have bought from a scalper in a heartbeat for these tho cuz between paying into the broken system but actually getting the doll and peacing out OR never getting to so much as ever see these dolls in person.....yeah not a contest. I don't feel this way for every release but.......its jack and sally. These are also my ONLY skullector dolls. Yeah i've either missed or intentionally sat out of every single drop but this one so I was ready to go feral to get these and then never buy again. .......... Is what I would have said before next year's skullector's got revealed. I can't believe this. I've gone years sitting out just fine but NOW all of the sudden theyve just ripped the band aid off and are going to drop more skullector's i'd actually want??? wtf For these two specifically having opened them I don't have many notes. They're almost everything I could want from a mh version of these. Like I know some people say they should have been higher quality for 90, but I think people forget that its 90 for BOTH of them, meaning each doll has a value of 45 a piece. If they were released individually as howliday dolls this is exactly what i'd expect for my money. So much of jack's budget went to his incredible head to toe brand new everything. I just wish his legs were a little stiffer so I didn't have to rubber band him to his stand to prevent him from squatting while I was trying to pose him in the box again lol. Sally I know the silhouette has been done alot but the lace they chose is the single softest and highest quality fabric on her dress the lace MUST stay. I can't believe they gave us a new head sculpt for her too, like does this make these the first skullector two pack where BOTH have new faces? Even if I should ever get another skullector, I think these will always be my favorite.
Bloodbath drop is a term so applicable to we poor fangs who HAD TO buy in excess of 176 to 190 ppoints n above...for sure! My set arrives today...n I pray they are PERFECTION...too much hemoglobin dropped for this, huh? Big congrats, A...i love your energy!

I didn't get them myself, but one detail it really appreciate is that they really respected the character design on the og characters, especially on the eyes. I'm glad they didn't monster high-fy Sally's eyes and has the crazed little dots she's so iconic for🥰
About that lol, I started to think that Jack would be a skeleton made of magic, just like Skelita, because he is an habitant of the Halloween world and we know that no one there is dead. So maybe one of their children would also be a magical skeleton and the other could be a doll, like Sally, made by themselves. Or it could be something like that xD

I feel you Angel I paid 170, at least the scalper offered free shipping… 🙄 for them due to how horrible the release was… I clicked right at 12 and sold out during the que. I love them so much though! I’m at the point where scalpers use Bots and cheat, so how can you compete with that? Mattel should put a stop to it, but you know they wont. Any release I’m going to try, but expect to pay double 😞

These are wonderful characters and really lovely. This year I bought Elf on a Shelf that would be a good offspring of Jack and Sally because Halloween is the start to celebrating the seasons change but they both are permanently on the Island of Misfit Toys.
Unpopular opinion, but I wasn't crazy for these dolls. The outfits were not for me, I think the added details on Jack's outfit looked bad. And I'm not crazy for Sally's heels. The pots looked awkward. I'm happy that you were able to get them though, and thank you for the review!
