Thank you so much Jerrie. The interactive piece was super easy to create and I love how it turned out so the page remains "pretty" and the story is to be revealed.
The flap is a neat idea & yes, as time goes by you will see if it needs velcro but I suspect it won't. Nothing worse than having the unexpected happening & you spend the day at the hospital. I still remember my grandmother passing away on Christmas eve & the rush a day or two earlier to get my mother upto the hospital at Mudgee west of Sydney & so Christmas day 1959 was very different for us as we didn't have the cars of today nor was the house air-conditioned etc. My grandparents had a sheep property. All I remember is my Aunts bustling around cleaning out the place as my mother was the youngest of the family & so we were the last of the grandchildren born, so sadly it was the end of an era!! I have a feeling we may have had our Christmas celebration on New Years day before heading south to the beach for our annual holiday which would have only been 2 weeks instead of three.
Thank you Louise. I loved putting this together - even if the photos are memories that weren't quite what was expected from Christmas Day. There are always unexpected and unwelcome things that happen at any time of year and Christmas Day is no different really.
Love the interactive element idea on this page. I have only attempted one DD album several years ago. which is still a quarter unfinished, Sometimes work and day to day life just take over. 🙂
Thank you so much Susan. It is such a simple way to add something fun - and more "real estate" for the layout. I hope you get to finish your DD album soon - they are such wonderful projects to work on.
It's such a quick and easy way to add more real estate to a layout! It's so hard to get distracted with other projects - I hope to finish this one soon!
Adding the dates will be super quick to do. I hope you get to complete your album at some stage. I am organising what photos I have right now to get mine done.
I love how you made the page so interactive 😊
Thank you so much Sharon. I loved how this turned out - quick, easy and so effective.
replay Janice, this is lovely!! I love the flap to hide/hold your journaling!! Very clever. TFS

Clever flap! Still love those papers!
Thank you so much. I still love these papers too - just as well as I need to create more layouts to finish off my album!
It is a cute page! I love the interactive flap!
Thank you so much Ronda. It was a fun element to introduce to this layout and I love how it turned out.

Great idea. Thx
Thank you so much Suzie. So glad you loved the interactive element.
Love the flap idea, I’ll need to work that in my DD when I start it. 😅

Gorgeous page! My DD isn’t finished either.
Thank you so much Jenny. I'm challenging myself to finish this album soon - so I can start working on this year's designs!
After watching your video I realised I haven’t put the dates in my pages. Luckily I’ve only completed 3 pages. I didn’t take a photo every day.
