    1968 was a good year for me. Returning from Vietnam a salty old (19) U.S. Marine. I think I'll buy one just for that reason alone! At 71 I can still find a young chick to go for a ride. (even if it is my grand daughter)

    It was great to visit your shop and meet you and the ownership, most gracious, and I love my Vespa Motorsports San Diego hat and my new LED running lights for my GTS300. Keep Rockin'!

    In my humble opinion I believe the designers at Vespa have well and truly dropped one regarding the rear side panels in them being to high in comparison with the original and iconic Vespa’s and Lamberetta’s from the sixties which were lower to the ground and ran parallel around to the back of the wheel area.
    I’m 53 years old and maybe I’m stuck in the past regarding this look and this is the modern way forward aimed at younger generation
    There are shed loads of copycat retro Chinese scooters on the roads and growing in numbers yearly with the original look and style of the sixties.
    It strikes me that the Chinese designers have taken onboard the simple saying “if it’s not broke don’t fix it “ attitude and it’s working very nicely for them in the market place and eating into what Vespa could and should be selling to the scootering purists.

    What are you talking about Robot? Vespa primavera is sold as 125, and 150 primavera... There are both engines available for the Primavera. It's the same engine except 150 has a bigger bore on the valves. Isn't that so? I am form Croatia and we still didn't get the Primavera S150 2020 year model. That's the one I wanna buy. Just for around town, grocery runs and so forth. That's what it's made for man. My every day ride is a BMW R9T. That's a machine.

    I have a quattrini converted1969 model pushing 50 brake'', super light, super quick, 32mm powerjet carb' , polini guts(gearkit & clutch), full circle crank, hand made tigged aliminium expansion pipe(one-off), boyesen Reed block, 12"wheel conversion, "sleeper" styling..
    W. T. F. Is usually what I hear from "biker" contenders..

    How did I escape the turn signal pods on my lx? They are the Euro style, and work. Great vid , Robot.

    I love how it looks and the color and wheels. The seat would look much better black. I don't like the bland looking gray. I hate LED lights. They are bad for your eyes. Is this a 150cc? Thanks

    Thanks for the video.
    Could you please, do a video on getting at the valves on a Liberty 150abs?

    Do you not get 125cc Vespas in the U.S?

    • @BrendaEM
      @BrendaEM 6 років тому

      150's because we have wide spaces, and often the shear-off point for displacement is often 0-50cc, 51-150, 150-

      We’ve had 50, 125, 150, 200, 250 and 300cc models over here in UK - a little excessive as the difference in performance is that great. A licence is needed for 125cc up

    • @tenders

      We have 125cc manual shifty cycles in the US, like the Honda GROM and I think the Honda Monkey, but you need a motorcycle license for 51cc and up. If you're going through the trouble of getting a motorcycle license, the CVT performance of a 125cc would not be worth it - it struggles to get to 50mph. At least that was my thinking.

    I'd rather have a sprint

      Madara Uchiha I dont know alot about vespas. Why would you rather have a sprint?

    • @OntarioAndrews415
      @OntarioAndrews415 6 років тому

      I like the lines of the Sprint; square-ish headlights, the shape of the left and right mirrors are not round and I like that. The wheels are blacked and so is the exhaust. Mostly visual style stuff. The 50cc Sprint gets more colours than the 150cc does. Basically both the Sprint and the Primavera are the same.
