Wow!!!!!!! I can't get over the amazing relics you guys find in the middle of nowhere! That is the kind of exploration I want to do. Thank you, Jerry & Shawn, for the inspiration you give me 💖💖 Congratulations on that beautiful silver, Shawn!!!
That quarter is an exciting find Shawn ...it never ceases to amaze me how targets show up in ground we've hunted repeatedly . Thank's for another great adventure !🍻 Gregory.
Thanks guys for another great video love all the finds can't wait for the next video stay safe out there watch out for snakes it's getting that time of year lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Out here in AZ we have a cabin built by a Kuhn. Don't know if y'all spell it the same. He was a gold miner and helped to establish Quartzsite. I've been to his old cabin and in his old mine. Pretty cool finds. Thanks for sharing.😊
Shawn(sp?) I LOVE the way the stars above that Eagle Popped out contrasting the black tarnish/mud. Jerry, that oblong button, could that be like a neck button to the top of a lady’s blouse? I can somehow see that with the tall neckline dressing of the day. Great stuff guys!
Yes, we just recently after hitting the old trade site started to dig the big iron signals more often. We know you enjoy some great old sites. I wanted to recommend another channel to ya. He’s digging some Amazing trade relics! Check him out! ua-cam.com/video/BxoKQ7dl8JU/v-deo.htmlsi=8KLg4XO3jaa4hIe9
-Take a gold pan with you. If you find a piece of jewelry missing the stones, pan the dirt around the find hole. Odds are good you will find the stones that have fallen out.
Good eye, there was a railroad track that was above the homesite put in in the early 1900s. That was a stone drainage tunnel they put under the tracks because there was a spring there.
Congrats Shawn on the Barber quarter and Jerry on the Indians and V nickles. Theres no way you're going to get Shawn to walk across that wooden bridge😂.
That piece with the star on it is not a saw medallion. It is an unused leather rivet. I find lots of these, used. That's a nice find. If you find one of those annoying little brass/copper "washers", then touch have the other side of the rivet. That would make a nice display item.
I really enjoy your history telling along with the metal detecting. The Kuhn name is in my family tree. The name somehow changed to Coon along certain lines. Good hunting guys!
Love watching you guys turn over historical items from the ground but that music is so annoying. Finally turned it off only to turn it back on. Please, your commentary and swinging is all that is needed.
As much as we like that you enjoy our videos, we enjoy the music and like having it in our videos. We do try to change the volume decrease the amount of it here and there but I doubt we will be deleting the music from the videos. Thanks as always for the constructive criticism.
If you find a 1877 Indian Head Penny. They worth $1000. I suggest a soft toothbrush and a little bit of water and clean the Indian Head Pennies that way you will not ruin them with your fingertips. I was the Allegheny County Penn Hills historian from 1985 to 2023. This area has black coal dirt and your rubbing objects can do more damage than good.
Yes, we should be gentler rubbing coins. Often time they come out of the ground toasted. To do it right we would need to take it him and gently clean all the artifacts but we want to make sure we Is the dates while in the field for the viewers.
Fantastic finds. Nose grease cracks me up every time. Enjoy the history information too.
lol but it works haha

Yes, we will go back to old sites every once in a while and get a few extras here and there.
At 12:05 looks like a cuff link. Thanks for the adventure.
I really enjoy these videos. Thanks😁. That first find on the berm at the first site looks like a winder for a music box/ jewelry box. 🤷♀️
Could be! We arnt the best at ID some of the things we find. Our views usually figure them out though.
Great work guys!!!!!
Great video i look forward to your videos every Saturday wish you posted more i really enjoy them my top 3 UA-cam videos to watch

My hearts pounding now! Watching now guys... 💖💖
Mule shoes are more narrow.
Nice finds guys.....👍
Bet that was a mule shoe then. It was definitely smaller than a traditional horseshoe.
Great finds
Thanks guys for another great video love all the finds can't wait for the next video stay safe out there watch out for snakes it's getting that time of year lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Thanks! You do the same! See ya next week!
That was on my bucket list now i have one 1900
Nice! Have you found a seated coin yet?
Great job , every week with content and video.
Enjoyed from Southwest TN. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks James! Love Tennessee!
Great sites and congrats on the Barber, Shawn!
Thanks. Glad to have the silver monkey off my back. We don’t find a whole lot of silver coins in these woods sites.
Love the way you built up the showing of the barber quarter
Too bad it wasn’t a dime.
Yea that would have been sweet! thanks as always for watching and the support! See ya next week!

That sounds like it would be an amazing place to detect as well.

We always picture how these people would have been dressed when these items were lost. Interesting to think about.
A REALLY interesting site! I have no issue with digging iron targets, anything utilitarian was usually made of iron.

For close up hold items still you have a tendency to constantly move. Very good content.
Thanks Daniel, I don’t realize I do it until I watch the video back. Shawn is great at it lol. He’s always reminding me haha
Great hunt
Thanks Jeff!
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
Let’s GO!!
New viewer here. Love the channel. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Gary!

That’s a good idea! Thanks
At 22:45 what was the black square up on the hill?
Good eye, there was a railroad track that was above the homesite put in in the early 1900s. That was a stone drainage tunnel they put under the tracks because there was a spring there.
Congrats Shawn on the Barber quarter and Jerry on the Indians and V nickles. Theres no way you're going to get Shawn to walk across that wooden bridge😂.
Thanks! I almost froze in the middle. We did go back and we walked under it and crossed the creek. Shawn wasn’t having it.
Keep Swingin 💪
Golden days ahead, silver nights too, just get out before dark, lol,Dogman hunts after dark and he's looking for supper! Lol!
Thanks James! Good days are coming!
Another great one
Thanks John.

What website do you use for lidar ?
USGS. Google it. Thanks for watching!
Great job guys just goes to tell us every time its not hunted out..lol
Yep! Your right! Gotta get back to this one.
@@detectingpa8968 The field I found my Flying Eagle I scored a Pandora piece and a silver necklace and I've been hunting this place for 5 years
@@detectingpa8968 i would there is some silver hiding
At 22:36 does it look like a cave in the background?
Good eye, it’s a stone strain age tunnel that was put in under the railroad tracks above the site.
👍👍
How do you guys find places to detect at? Like private property or public.
It’s mostly private since we detect the forest. Landowners don’t seem to mind when you ask them as long as it’s not hunting season.
I really enjoy your history telling along with the metal detecting. The Kuhn name is in my family tree. The name somehow changed to Coon along certain lines. Good hunting guys!
@@detectingpa8968 alright thanks!
22.40 min in is that cave in your background?
It’s a stone lined drainage tunnel for under the railroad tracks
12:05 is the handle of a stop-cock, or small spigot.
Who made the bench?
No idea, somone may have camped there recently
@@detectingpa8968 I was just wondering if it was from the old homestead?
I don’t think so. There was some modern junk in there too. I think it was in the last 10 years or so
Thank you for taking the time to answer. It amazed me how much money is lost when it was scarce.
Nice focus on your cameras dude!
We are taking donations for new camera gear if you want to float us some money.
I was giving you a nice comment. Quit begging for money. Are you fucking with me?
Being sarcastic. lol. We really aren’t taking donations. But I thought you were being sarcastic with your comment too. 😂
Now that I see your name, I know you never leave negative comments.
Let’s go!

😂I honestly didn’t even notice the music until I read the comment. The volume is perfect, wouldn’t change a thing 👍🏼

Sorry, that name is spelled Keuhn or Kuehn
Convex Convex Convex
lol! Convex, concave. How will we ever know? 😂
Hate the music.
To each their own.
What kind of shiw is this. Picking stuff from the ground. Don't show a thing all talk. No good.
