Hi Matt, you are the best and you are really helping me to get better
oh God! messi is here
Love your content❤
+1 ❤❤
MESSI...MESSI...MESSI!
Love these analysis videos 🔥 would be great to see the process of how you create them so we can try and do the same with our own footage!
Always support you my brother !
You are a beast bro and you truly became elite⚽️🔥💪
Great analysis unless you have some good iq and game intelligence you won't understand a lot of the things like why you have to sometimes pass first time or just clip the ball over, so much goes into the decision making playing in midfield and in the back because if you get a decision wrong at high levels good players will punish you. That moment with Charlie was interesting because he sensed danger and followed a dangerous runner but not the most dangerous runner who right next to him.
It's crazy how playing in the back and in midfield defensively you find yourself playing a danger management game because lots of moments there are lots of dangerous players but you have to figure out in 2 seconds which is the most dangerous and then figure out how to minimize that danger.
Great video and so many good points
Picking up that late runner into the box a real problem for yr team. Thought you had a solid game, tho
Thank you Matt for making me a better player everyday!
hey matt, do you think you could make the mls in your future and how long do you think your body has until you retire? i love your videos they have helped me improved throughout the years
Looks like practicing long balls with the left foot would make you a great asset. The highlights with the right foot long balls created chances up top.
That "no look" at 21:18 tho 🥶!!!
you matty boy, can you get me a trial somewhere bro? i play in Sydney Australia.
I love your playstyle as a cb and I also play the same style as you. I learned a lot from you very good video
Hey Matt I am 13 and this is my first year of playing soccer competitively playing in the ecnl r league and I fail to keep up with others on my team soccer in wise but I have very good technical ability so how can I combine the 2 in my individual practice sessions?
great vid matt also would love to have a vid of u micd up for a game.
Love these videos… so sad my college career is over now, but these are motivating me to get into a league and keep playing. I miss it so much
did you do it?
Life is short bro if you want to do it then do it
Glad I've come across your channel as a new CB going into my first game tomorrow! Been playing football for at least 15 years but as a RM. Recently got a new love of playing in the centre back position. Sub'd you.. can you recommend any other channels to sub to in regards to learning more about playing CB etc.
Also love how much detail you go in to your videos and appreciate it.
Great video. You guys should play 4 at the back though. Or what do you think Matt?
Great fight gut 💣🔥
I love you matt♥️
Sir good game tactics 🥰💖💯⚽
Gooooooood
Cool 😎 Matt
Keep going
hi matt, ive been really stuggling at the' moment with enjoying football. I'm 18 and signed my first semi pro contract this summer but since then i havent felt the same enjoyment from my football as i used to. Any tips to enjoy it again
I'm 13, but I would say, remember that football is a game. It is meant to be enjoyed. Despite how competitive it is, try to enjoy it, and don't take it TOO seriously, as dumb as that sounds.
Hey Matt! Just wondering if you know any good people that vlog just like you?
What software do you use to edit your soccer highlight videos?
hey, I want to make a highlight video, but don't know where I could edit my videos so that I would be able to put a circle around myself. Really would appreciate any advice! :)
ur such a nice player
Hey wassup Matt, I was wondering if I can practice while being sick ? (cold, flu, ect) I’m asking because I train everyday and just today I took a rest day because I was feeling sick,I have a cold I believe, I also took the rest day because I had a little sugarp pain in my thigh but besides that, it was the sickness that prevented my workout. But I watch all your videos and I love them, keep working and hope for the best for you, thanks
Dude, I´ve been there. It´s not worthy it. It´s is much better to lose 2 or 3 (even 4) days and get back with a 100% of effort than training at 50% for several days in a row.
The best bit about Harry's razors are the price. I got this whole set for free 😁
Matt did you get any feedback as to why you got benched? I thought your first half was solid, would like to see you move into a defensive midfield role, I feel your wasted in CB, you make some good passing decisions, just need to get more involved in attack which of course is going to be very difficult in a 3 man backline, hoping you can move to midfield
Just because you get sub out doesn't mean you were playing poorly. They probably change tactics to attack more.
Matt i got a question for ya. How would you try to get back into football after years out? Im slim so im not overweight, i seem to struggle with soreness after training for days and my biggest struggle has always been my stamina as i have asthma. Just wondering if there is anything you can recommend to help me go from the couch back to playing 90 mins with decent endurance lol thanks, love the videos btw
For start train hard in the gym with small weights and many reps for trying not being stiff for playing in a match, do morning 5km runs for every day and when you feel ready make it 7km or 10km so your lungs will "open". For start if you play for a team and you are a substitute at the bench and you come in the match , put 100% effort as it's the last match of your life, if you still have problems playing 30mins in the pitch, when opponents hit you or touch you , fall down and pretend that you're injured or hurt, that will save you some breathing ;) . Good luck my friend. How old are you??
@@tzortzkawaz6892 appreciate this mate, im 26 now and have started playing since this message. Things have gone well technique never goes but i havnt made the effort to improve stamina. I need to do this because it makes decision making in game so much easier and with more quality. Its just getting off your ars to do it with work and life. But i dont like excuses so i will be making the effort and take on board the things you have said. Thanks
@@Dal0297 Don't go for drinks, buy an expensive match ball sorry not one but 3-4 balls so you have variety of practicing.
Nice video. Consider making videos analyzing other professional full backs. Dani Carvajal for example
6:39 Why not chip the ball to get out of that situation? This is where you got to have colmillo like we say in spanish. Messi and high level players do this all the time. I have not yet seen one American soccer player to do the things these elite players do. I do this chip in my amateur level and it works. I have done it with some exp pros and the thing is they don't expect you to do those things.
Hi guys .I play as a CB and I’m5’7(170cm)
I’m very good at this position and I love it.
Is there a chance for me with this height at it?
5:37 Was the opponent too close to you not to chest it down and control your ball?
How to transition from to a higher level team
Never a penalty for their 5th goal, referee has had a howler there
14:49 You are not being hypercritical. Those seconds you lose due to turning is very important.
Get that sponsor money
Your midfield was giving you nothing😶
Matt 2bad u didn't get any minutes against Indy. Hopefully they did that to give the youngsters some gametime.
5:16 Again, at a higher level you should be able to trust your keeper. Unless your keeper is really bad with his feet.
Where’s Caden
20:37 That's not a penalty, come on.
Weak pk. Surprised you would get pulled. Team is unbalanced with not enough defensively aware/motivated guys...
I’m
3:45 ∆ Too bad he didn't see that one touch pass to the left. Lots of options to attack. At a higher level that should have been the pass.
first love your content
With all my respect matt, your team is horrible, they live loosing. You should change for another with more competitive mentality.
