Good Afternoon. I was absolutely blown away at how Beautiful, Historical, Architectual ALCUDIA!!!! Looked as a regular viewer Lee and Alsx on your Channels. Very easy and relaxing to have a Good Mooch around and just take a look at how Beautiful the buildings and the surroundings were. The town, did remind me of York with Perimeter Wall. Health and Safety where was that, I did Not that short wired fence, You have so easily slipped and and gone over and probably killed yourself by falling onto the hard stone ground below. It needed a Proper and very solid brick wall Installed to look after people and make sure they really Safe when they walk along the wall. What you were saying Alex, about people living along the wall, and Tourists looking in and just Gawping at who was living there. Just give people some Privacy and just pay some Consideration and Respect how there are living. It would be like, people walking through your garden, How would you like it? Alex, You really the Perfect Tour Guide and the amount of Knowledge and Interesting Information you provide is Incredible. You really do have a Lovely Lady like Gait to Walking. You really are such a Professional on the spot Travel Show Presenter. Just the old Travel Show with the Presenter Cliff Mitchelmore if remember him. You are very Warm, Welcoming, Friendly, Beautiful and one of the most Soft and Gentle voices i have ever heard. You and Lee do make a really Good U Tube Creators Colaboration. It is one of the few medieval gems that you can walk around, day or night.York is a walled city too because the Italo Celts/Basques/Romans founded it.The pre-christian "Romans"(the Italo Celts/Basques)founded Alcudia.I cant effing wait until we win.Its high time.Eternal Rome is eternal for a reason because we win....
Tell Alex that it was the Spanish King, Jaume II of Aragon who designed and built the Alcudia Old Town walls, at the end of the 13th century and it took over 60 years to complete.

Living next to the Old Town wall does have its disadvantages. You were brutal talking about buying local goods. A nice place to tour and have lunch.
A lovely resort, years ago it was all German tourists.

What is Market Day? That's not a thing here in the US unless maybe it's called something else here.
It's a set day, held usually once (or maybe twice) a week, where local traders come together to sell their wares. These are quite often fruit & veg sellers, butchers, artisan craft workers, etc, who often don't have a retail premises.
My local market days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
I googled and it looks like in America it all depends where you live.
For example, NYC markets seem to open daily but then if you went to say Poughkeepsie they have a waterfront market which opens on Tuesdays only.
In fact on the website it does actually say “Market Days” so I think it is a thing in the USA. Maybe more used in certain areas over others and outside the big metropolitan areas?

Years ago the German public toilets had white leather sofas and marble floors. When it became a British resort these were removed and a bale of hay was thrown in.
Maybe tell that to the people of S'Arenal and Playa De Palma near Palma on the island who have had to fly in specialist German police because the Germans are so badly behaved there and where the locals make the most official complaints than anywhere on the island, even far more than Magaluf... Those locals would happily swap the German tourists for Brits!
I'm going back 40 years David and discussing Alcudia when it was a "chique German resort".
@@robblack7560 Alcudia is still German dominated, it's nowhere close to being a British resort... Almost twice as many Germans as Brits go to the island and in most of the main resorts, they still outnumber the Brits 6 to 1.
