Firstly: I feel your pain, man. My wife and I have been through some very tough times. I can relate with some of your story. Secondly: my hats off to you for your incredible effort to push forward, despite the odds. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad to see you have some who stand by your side through this journey. You are blessed, in that. All that crap that the system forces you to endure is incredibly frustrating. Ug. I think you need to find a lawyer or something.
We cant understand trials in our lives, but sometime in the future, we will be stronger for going through the trials! My prayers R with U during this difficult time! Know the pipe community cares about U!
Ha Man , So sorry to hear about your problem. I can sympathies with you, back in 1974 I was told I had A S, Thats, Ankylosing spondylitis . all the medication didnt work so i have been in a hell of a pain. Now at long last they are going to start me on Anti TNF. As you like pipe so much why dont you start to make pipes ? you can buy blocks with stem already in them ,then sell them on Ebay. I really hope things pick up for you & Kali Bro. Best of luck hang on in there.
@scottiehypnosis01 I'll take a look. I do have some briar, I just haven't started carving them yet. I have absolutely no wood skills so I have been hesitating. I will try it though one day. I'll check out your racks also. Thanks for the ideas.
Steve Maybe you can get hold of some wood , and make Rustic pipe stands. I have made a few myself. If you go to FB and look my page up , Roy Colley you can see them on there. You can then sell them to friends or on ebay.
@dagnerperformance Thanks Jayson. My memory sucks and I hate asking for things so I don't know if I'll "remember" to ask. But I appreciate the thought. :-)
@MrSmokeGuy Thank you. My brother could give me work, only he lives an hour and a half away from me. I can't afford to be going there and back right now. My daughter has school and so do his kids. that is the plan for the future though
Crap, Steve, had no idea it was so bad. Sending good thoughts, mojo and prayers. I can relate, diagnosed with MS in 1999, had to quit my career 3 yrs later. PM me on the status of your S S D I claim - mine was approved on first try and perhaps I can give you some tips. Once you find a good job you won't need the disability but it helps in meantime. I am working PT as much as I can tolerate. Things will get better my friend - chris.
Steve, inew your back issues were bad, but man im feeling for yah brother. Give ma few weeks and i' ll get something out to you that will help. Just remind me.
You're a perfect example of why we should have a single payer healthcare system. (medicare for all) - Yes, it's run by the gvnmnt but, that's better than an insurance company that profits by denying claims. - Sorry for your troubles. -Mark
