Man, technology is beyond miraculous. That young man LITERALLY LOST his limbs, and years later, science became capable of giving him new limbs, not prosthetics, LIMBS.
Man i'm telling ya, im not a pussy that cries for anything, but seeing this good lad gaining what as impossible since humanity started brings tears to my eyes.

It's amazing how you can take off somebody's arm and transplanted it to a man that lost his limbs and they function. I wonder is it possible to do the same with legs, so this man could live pretty much the same he used to live in the past, before Iraq.

Insane that there is a part of his body where the cells take a hard change from XY to XX and yet the whole thing stays together and functions. Unbelievable medical advance. Yes, I can't wait for the time when we can regrow with our own cells so we can look back at this achievement in a negative way instead of a positive.

It was the surgeries the doctors performed, cutting away burned and dead tissue, that caused him to bleed so much. He also had to have an artery cut out and put into another spot, which would have caused a lot of blood loss. So, in short, it wasn't the attack that caused the loss it was the treatment that did.

If its not a perfect match, body rejects the arms and he is back to having no arms, along with the possibility of not being able to redo the surgery. He is lucky to have gotten a donor.
