It would depend on the noise around you. They are not directional, so they would pick up all the ambient noise, and the voice would be difficult to hear.. They work best in close proximity.
Not sure, I would imagine a converter would work. You could order one, try it, return it if it didn't work. Or just get a mic that works with both devices. Check out my vid on Saramonic 500 b2+, it's more versatile.
Me ajude, me orientando. Outra coisa, como sei que o vídeo que gravei pelo celular foi captado o áudio do celular em vez do áudio do microfone? Me ajude por favor! Abraço!!
You don't need to install any software or apps. To test the audio recording, hold the mic near your mouth then put it behind your back with your hand over the mic. Speak at the same loundness. When playing back yoi will hear the volume change. Hope that helps.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Thanks for the reply, as phones have some limitations and on some phone it recognize the receiver as earphone so the speaker doesn’t work until you unplug it.
Thanks for the reviews. Disappointingly the improvement over my £24 Happyover mic isn't material enough to warrant an upgrade. In the audio there are distinct nuances or processed and muffled sounds. I dislike the pitchy hiss at the end of some of your words. I get the same using my cheap mic. At £66 I would rather drink a glass of water and just commit to the more expensive Hollyland Lark M2. It's only for so long that you can keep buying cheap mics to dodge spending bigger bucks on quality ones. My viewers deserve clearer and easier listening experience.
Watching directly from Brazil 🇧🇷. Great analysis, I really liked it! In terms of audio quality, is there a big difference compared to the Lark M2? In terms of cost-benefit, which one would you get?
Ive not used the Lark but my buddy who's reviewed it loves it. This Boya was very good straight out the box, fiddling or adjusting. So depends on how you use kit and what its for.
That’s a very comprehensive and in depth review. I liked the drone assisted distance test. Top stuff!
Thanks George, pleased I kept you entertained 😅
Nice review! Great little mic - definitely super convenient and pretty good sound for the price too - cheers Tim!
Thank you. No kidding, I was surprised out how good it was and I diddeven do any post-production. Are you in the UK
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Hi mate no I'm a Kiwi based in Shanghai 👍
I love how we can connect around the world
This is a great review. Straight to the point and nice examples. Thanks!
Pleased you liked it
Great review. Thanks.
That NC mode really cuts the higher frequencies.
Can the connector be fitted into an adapter for use on an laptop/PC?
Ive not tried it but I can't see why it wouldn't. I'd get one and if it didn't work, return it.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Thank you very much for your reply. Your suggestion is perfect. Thanks.
Nice review, thank you for sharing.
From how far can the mic pic a voice?
It would depend on the noise around you. They are not directional, so they would pick up all the ambient noise, and the voice would be difficult to hear.. They work best in close proximity.
fits right with phone case on?
Yes, should be fine but obviously if you have some kind of crazy case then maybe not. But I used it with a case and it was fine..
is this plug and play?
I 2x tap and it does not turn green. Can you help me?
Yes definitely plug and play
¡Me encantó el video! Muchas gracias por toda la producción
Brilliant, pleased you liked it.
This is another level review!!!!! Love it❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 🤗
Hey is it possible to connect it to my DSLR through a female type-c USB- jack?

can you hook it up to a DSLR with Headphone jack?
I don't think so
If it takes USB C yes!
Do I need to unplug the receiver for the phone speaker to work?
I’m currently using iPhone 15 Pro. THANKS
I can't say I'm 100% sure. I would say you don't. There's no reason why your phone won't work normally.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Thanks for the reply, as phones have some limitations and on some phone it recognize the receiver as earphone so the speaker doesn’t work until you unplug it.
looks slightly bigger than Hollyland LARK M2 .. but for $50 cheaper it seems like a deal!
I think brilliant value and one of the best audio quality and so easy to use.
Does it record in mono or stereo?
Mono
Do you get a dead cat with it or you need to get it separately?
Sorry I can't remember. I don't have it now. I'm sure I showed what's included, no?
My one boya mic is not working
That's annoying. Try a factory reset and firmware update. Otherwise contact Boys tech support.
How to charge?
Trying to remember, I think you charge the case or individually
Can it be used on a Canon Camera as well?
It's designed to plug straight into mobiles. You need Boyamic, see my other video on this. Cheers

As you sat, it's all about budget and your needs. I only use DJI as nothing seems to beat it.

Do you have any video comparing this microphone to the Hollyland Lark M2?
