It surprisingly worked, but it wasn’t enough for the dinosaurs to keep up with the amount of dinosaurs dying every day. Eventually the dinosaurs just gave up and decided to make it a fun game to hatch as many eggs as they can. It was just meant to keep themselves entertained as they go extinct, but accidentally repopulated the dinosaurs in the process.
