yNOTi - Black Techno Matters Radio

yNOTi is a DJ and burgeoning music producer currently based in Los Angeles. The DJ moniker was chosen by Sydney due to the constant misspelling of her name as “Sidney”.
She has a strong musical background thanks to having played classical violin from the age of 7 and with the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra and her mother, a former musician who grew up during the peak of American disco/funk. Her exposure to the experimental electronic sounds of 1960s funk groups and love for video games and anime introduced her to electronic music at a young age. Known for her energetic and dark sets, she has played clubs in San Francisco and the underground in Los Angeles and has begun producing deep house and hard techno tracks.
