      Does it matter the style of charcoal grill? The one i have is an 24" Expert Grill from Walmart...how would you set that one up? (if you can)

    • @GulfCoastSmoke
      @GulfCoastSmoke  3 роки тому +4

      @@jasonwatts5802 Absolutely doesn’t matter! That’s the square one right? I would just get one full charcoal chimney full of coals, dump 3/4 of them unlit into the grill and put them to one side to create your two zones. Then light the other 1/4 in your chimney and put them over the unlit coals and then choke back your vents to create a show cook! Then place your meat indirect and just watch her purr and give you a great smoke!

    FINALLY, someone who knows how to smoke on Weber kettle. Mine is used mostly for smoking. I love your charcoal layout. Gonna use that for my pork loin. And don't worry about the rub? Correct! They're all good. Not too concerned about the temp? Also correct. It always turns out good. The Weber kettle is a great way to learn how to smoke. You can tell doneness how the probe slides into the meat. Just poke it! Well done Chef!!!

I used the Franks hot sauce I let them sit in a bag over night then I poke holes in the bag to let the sauce flow out , then I.
