Something that really scares me about asylums is if the some of the patients there can't tell the difference between their hallucinations and real life, how would they even be able to tell that they've died? 🥺😳
That is an interesting thought. I also wonder from time to time, when they pass over, do they leave their mental health issues behind due to it being brain-related (physical brain), which they wouldn't have if they are just energy? Maybe that is one we could contemplate in a future podcast as at our own Asylum, we do appear to get what seems like one person but with multiple-personality.
Unfortunately, I always seem to miss your premiers so I will show my appreciation and admiration for you ladies here in the comments. You two are amazing and your investigations are always so interesting. Thank you!! 💜👻💜👻
It's a wonderful thing to hear that spirit was pretty detailed regarding the breakin, and actually helped in finding the guilty ones. Great investigation ladies!
I didn't know until the guides told us when we returned. I just remember feeling very aggitated while on the headphones. Good to see they are still looking after the place. Thanks for watching x
Just finished watching! Really interesting how Alison saw a flash and you heard a hum (which I didn't hear BTW lol) Perhaps they chose to communicate to each of you in different ways! I could hear the spirit box going (unless what I heard was EVP thru your mic?) No wonder she's deaf and can only see flashes 🤣 @39:45 I heard Philip BEFORE Alison said it. @40:06 "John" (or "done/Dunn" maybe a surname?) And the high point! When you guys say "we CAN sing" @40:39 I heard an "ummm.." 😂 I laughed so loud!! Can't wait for part 2❤
It is interesting you say that Rican because listening back when editing, I can hear several words I didn't call out for whatever reason. I think I tag a couple of them in the next episode. Yes, yes, I do like my ghost box loud... like my music :P Oh, and you just made me giggle... I missed the 'ummm...' and now just picture them telling the one off that suggested we do that!
Well once again Aradale doesn’t disappoint. Your esties session was amazing. There is something to be said about your compassion and your handling of locations that have been the sight of major trauma. You are both fantastic at what you do. It’s an absolute pleasure to tune in and watch the way you go about your work. I can’t wait for part two next week. Thank you for all your hard work and much love to you both
THANK YOU! I can't see the point in being rude, and provoking as at the end of the day, these were people once, who suffered enough. Hopefully, that respect shines through. We do have fun, but at our own expense, not at the places we are visiting. I am so pleased this is being embraced. ❤❤
You and Amy have become the bookends to my Sunday. I’m very happy to be in this situation. It’s become my Sunday ritual and I’m loving it. Love you both, thanks for this new outlook on Sundays, thanks for sharing, as usual. Many, Many Blessings,❤,❤.
Hi girls that sound Kag heard was acoustic feedback similar to the squeal you get when you put a microphone to close to a speaker. Every room has an audio frequency and Alison's voice started to match that frequency causing a feedback with the natural reverb in the room. If a singer can match the frequency of a wine glass they can break it just with there voice. It's a good job there weren't any around when you sang bohemian rhapsody.😂😂🤣🤣At the end of a night when playing in a band I once sang Daddy's home and at the end there was a woman crying. I asked was it the words in the song that made you sad....She said no I'm a singing instructor.😥😥 The bit where it said ...Do you want to die and... You will followed by... Like us gave me goose bumps. I loved it as always thanks gals for a great episode and I'll see you on the next one.❤❤ 👍🏻👍🏻👻👻
Hi Geoff, I did wonder whether it was the resonance of our own voices... but I couldn't hear it to be sure lol. Yeah I must admit, I forgot about the "Do you want to die" and don't really remember saying a lot of this stuff, but when I was editing and listening back it gave me the chills too. Idon't think it felt like a threat, just they were informing us that one day we would be like them.
Hahah we are two trick ponies! The only ones we know the words to! We should start taking requests though lol. I think it has become a thing on how many haunted places we can sing Bohemian Rhapsody... I wonder if there is a place in the Guiness Book of Records for that 😂
@@haunted-horizons I think you are on to something! You'd be the only paranormal team that sings!! I love it! Yes, I do believe that would put you in the Guiness Book of Records for the most singing in haunted places!! 😂😂💜
That was great, so much going on, even though you two were feeling tired....looking forward to part two....I only heard the humming when the speaker was right by the cameras mic.
Glad you enjoyed Vonny. I still couldn't hear it when I did that... sighs. There again, as you can hear from the ghost box, I do like to have things loud, so maybe my ears have perished over the years lol
20:50. Estis, can't remember all the names. Lady on estis, she says car, the other two were talking about ' are you ok?" There's a light, middle of the door, was that a car?
Oh, I will have to go and look tomorrow Deirdrelegg. Thank you for pointing out. I don't think it is near the road, so shouldn't have had headlights, but will double check. :)
Another awesome investigation, Aradale is an amazing place to investigate, during your estes session at the 35 minute mark when just after Kag had said we're all going die, I swear I heard a male voice say what. Could just be my ears lol, thanks again ladies for all that you do ❤
Crime solvers - fantastic - Phillip appears to be watching over the place - till next time - thank you for the work and places you take us all to! Cheers N
Somebody was definitely watching them. It is a shame they didn't scare them off... or did they? If I was a ghost there, I would have had so much fun with them lol. Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching x
Thanks FuerzaArmada, I am huge on supporting mental health and actually Haunted Horizons donates to beyondblue each year to help with this. It is always in my mind to be respectful, these energies were just people once, and nobody chooses to have mental health issues. I am pleased our methods are being embraced ❤❤
Thank you Jodi, I think sometimes it is too easy for people to remember that these were people once too. I like to keep that in my own mind when we are investigating. We laugh and have fun but never at their expense... just ours lol.
Aradale is hands down the most creepy, imposing building I've ever been in, even more imposing than many historic prisons and castles I've been to. While I didn't have any ghostly experiences there, it stuck with me in my thoughts for months and months. Driving up that hill in the dark, and seeing that building loom out of the darkness was so terrifying, even to my husband, who doesn't believe in ghosts. We were there on a really foggy night in June, which made it feel extra atmospheric... an odd choice for a night out on our honeymoon, but it was so worth the drive from Stawell, and worth freezing our tits off for three hours! As I've said to you guys before, thank you for being so respectful to the spirits. It breaks my heart to think of people being treated like demons not only in life, but in death as well. They were treated worse than animals, and no matter how "insane" they were, or what they did in life, or how they behave in death, they were people.
Oh, the best kind of honeymoon! lol I couldn't agree more with you Belinda, nobody choses to have mental health issues, it is something that creeps up on a person. What they need is help and understanding which they didn't get back then. It is why we are big on being respectful and not forgetting these were once people that were dealt a rough hand in life. It is also why we support beyondblue too and my business donates each year to helping mental health 😊
Love this place and your investigation, I want to give heaps of likes for the singing alone! 😄 I hope you got a good chance to eat, hydrate and rest, take care ladies

Kag I could hear the noise you spoke of…almost like a gong was struck or an old church clock bell tolling. But how it sounded with the talking, made me ignore it because I felt it was just a way the voices echoed as they compiled upon one another while being amplified by the recorder. But it was still interesting how some people heard it and others couldn’t…for me it was loud and clear as day.
Alison here... I did wonder if it was just the frequency of our voices echoing... but I couldn't hear it to make a judgement. Mind you I have all my music and the ghost box so loud, it is no wonder lol I still can't hear it!

We have evolved a long way since then. We weren't even using microphones back then, plus this was a live stream for our followers and not intended for UA-cam. I just thought it was interesting to tack on to the beginning of this episode to recap on our last visit.
