I'm all in. Can't wait for my copy to ship! I'm probably most excited for the Dark Horde minis, as I think the cardboard enemy tokens don't do the game justice.

I’ve heard your comments about the feedback, read through the comments here. Of course it’s your own prerogative to do whatever you want. But FWIW, I believe the filter will limit the potential of your channel.
It could work in some videos like as a small subset of your videos, an ongoing series of some sort, but in an unboxing especially detail is crucial. I respect your right to do whatever you want, but I’m one more viewer who can’t handle the filter as a long-term thing.
I respect the view, but I’ve built this all on my own vision. Truthfully my target audience isn’t necessarily the board game community, but to use commercials to draw people into board gaming who aren’t familiar with the hobby and to remind peeps the nostalgia of the games they played growing up. My channel and even other ones aren’t meant to please everyone. That being said I’m happy with the progression and I get to work with some awesome companies :)
I agree with utahman06, but your decision to use the VHS filter is your decision and no one else's. I would suggest, though, that you should just ignore the criticisms; to be honest, stating multiple times throughout a video that you're not going to change the filter is more off-putting than the filter itself. The criticisms are going to happen; just let them happen, ignore them, and move on.
@@TabletopIsland Just to add to this, they're making good points and people will get distracted by the loss of detail from a filter. As a suggestion to keep your theme you could optionally do a "TRACKING" bar and become clear for the middle of the video, then back out of tracking for the end again. It's yours and you should do what you want but it's hard to stray from an original concepts sometimes even when there's a good suggestion just because we get laser focused on our own projects and our view of them.
Didn't go all in but got the base game, it was purely a matter of storage but partly due to the fact that close to £300 is a lot to drop on a game that I MIGHT like, like many people all I can go off before playing myself is impressions and reviews. I guess for yourself Bernardo it's a little easier because you had the chance to play it prior to the kickstarter, it's just part and parcel of the hobby I guess and buying expensive games can be a gamble there. Felt more comfortable buying the base package, I know my players and know keeping things simple is probably the wise move :D Am looking forward to getting my copy, whenever that might be with Britain's wonderful new shipping and port duties....might get to play it this year!
I’m sure you’ll receive it soon and I can’t wait for you to play it! The best part is if you do end up loving it and want the other content I’m confident it’ll be obtainable. The base game alone is very solid! I’ve still yet to play with the expansion haha
I am wanting to buy a tube to protect the play mat. Can you reply with the dimensions of how wide the mat is when you have it rolled up? I know it is close to 32 inches long. The tube I was planning to buy is 3.75 inches inside.
Yo what up B? So what's the difference between the regular and the Kickstarter edition? You get more or do you get more with better quality stuff?
Some add one I believe such as the upgrades tokens, neoprene mat, getting the font, and a significantly cheaper price. I want to say they are running another Kickstarter as well so it may be worth waiting for extra stuff. The add one were mainly stuff unlocked for the overall game not so much Kickstarter exclusive stuff from what I saw. Oh and you get a coin player starter token :)

@@vincent9329 Aftershipping all in may have been around $300 so if it has absolutely everything it’s not the worst thing. That’s also including the neoprene mat. But it also depends how often you play it tbh. Base game alone is an insane amount of gameplay. Miniatures for all the monsters significantly increases game set up. It has its ups and downs.
I was really exited to have a look at my Dark Horde expansion after seeing how terrific they looked in your video. Ah, me...mine are all black! Not washed....just black! Maybe someone was too heavy-handed with the wash, but it looks like either the plastic itself was black or it was painted black. Despite that, I really enjoyed watching your unboxing. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

@@TabletopIsland Well, RG says they're looking into the black minis I received. They also asked if you had lightened your Dark Horde minis yourself. If so, how did you do it? If not, I guess RG was just fishing! :-)

I got everything but the mat. I sweated over the mat, but I think I’m glad.
Im all in, still waiting on my box. the washes look amazing!!! I think its something that all games need to think about doing
I like the wash on the mini figs. I would not trust myself to paint them. They would end up looking like a two year old got a hold of crayons and an adult coloring book.
Did the stretch goals already come in the three boxes?
One box was the stretch goals the other was the expansion. Not sure the question. The Kickstarter page breaks down each item if you’re curious of everything included as a stretch goal.

I went for Base plus Alliances, with sleeves and possibly component enhancements (can't remember now). Still waiting for delivery - really looking forward to getting it. Who knows when, due to Brexit impact on imports.

Ya, I can't make it through the first 5 minutes of this mess. Ya, I know what you said, but still. Such a *BEAUTIFUL* game, and unfortunately our first unboxing video is with **the worse** visual esthetics we will get on the internet. But if that's how you roll, you do you. I will HAPPILY wait for the next unboxing. 100% chance it will be 1080p and we will actually get to see the amazing detail of this amazing game. Good luck with your channel.

Most You Yube creators listen to feedback from the viewers, good or bad. Not everyone has perfect eyesight and putting something on the video so it intentionally makes things harder to see isn't good. You are making it harder for people that already can't see good. Maybe keep the filter on in the intro, but the actual video doesn't have the filter.
You’re asking me to break the entire illusion of my channel. That is not happening. Feedback has made this channel what it is. The video is to get peeps excited I have no intention to be like every other content creator. I appreciate the input, but this will not change.
Most UA-camrs listen to some feedback but not ALL feedback. That’s like telling a movie director to not put his movie in black & white in 2022 because no one likes that or for some other reason. It’s personal preference. And if it’s someone’s artistic direction, then that’s their choice. Not everyone will like it. Same can be said even if he didn’t put the VHS look on it. A creator will NEVER please everyone.
So many more videos on UA-cam to look at instead of wasting time and energy posting negative comments. Especially when the ones complaining don’t even pay for said content. It’s free and yet some of you still are so negative. THAT blows my mind.
@@oneANGRYelf I've never seen someone say "you know what would make your videos better? Make it so its harder to see. You you should do that." Me and others don't have great vision and what the creator is doing on purpose is to make it harder with people with disabilities to see his content. On purpose, seems like discrimination to me.
