Rabbi, may i ask. If the Jewish blood line is through the Mother, then why do the Jews claim the religious cast of the Levites as their own? Moses was a Levite. David's mother was a Levite. Jesus's mother is Levite. Leviticus is for the Levites. The Machiach ben David must be a Levite, and cannot be a Jew. The House of David represents the line of kings, not a tribe.
