Nick literally hates Purdy just cause he ruined his Trey Lance take
And this niners team would beat the chiefs in the super bowl. No Jimmy g mistakes this year
Haven't heard a peep about it since.
Nick hypocrisy and double standards on this is on another level. Based on his own definition mahomes must also be just a “system QB”. He has an amazing coach with proven success in multiple teams. He has/had historically good offensive weapons and when he faces adversity in SB against Brady he folded.
Nick hating because he knows 49era better than his chiefs this year and will win the Superbowl
He also has some odd love affair with Dak this year.
For sure he’s being paid to cape for Dak. Never a doubt
The thing I like the most about Purdy is that you can tell he legitimately doesn’t care what anyone thinks except his teammates.
Especially Nick wrong lol
WRONG Kyle releasing this statement shows that the chatter is getting into the locker room, The pressure for Brock to be perfect Becoming immense, In fact I am now going to be placing a bet on the cowboys strictly because of Kyle
@DangleSan welp they still have McCaffery so that's probably money lost unless dak can have a great game and if the coach actually lets the cowboys play aggressive instead of that 80s style offense of just running the ball
@@DangleSanbruh,a reporter asked him the question. He wasnt addressing anything,he was simply answering a question. In fact,he was calling the question ridiculous.
@@DangleSanwrong. Kyle was asked a question. He simply answered
Here's something that nobody in the comments is talking about and Nick has not even addressed. Brock Purdy literally throws his receivers open. That pass to Ayuik with double coverage is an example of throwing a receiver open. He put that ball where only Ayuik could catch it.
You would only know that if you watch the tape broken down or played football at a high level. Nick has never done either of those.
He has made several throws this year that not many qbs could make
The expert commentator was quite clear that the two defenders should have made a play on what he called an underthrown ball.
And the commentators said he under threw him smh I agree 💯
I’m going to post this again
He never has to come from behind because he’s always puttin his team ahead and I hope it never stops
Right? I'd much prefer a qb that keeps his team ahead, rather than to flounder around the first 3 quarters then try to comeback in the 4th.
He did come from behind against the Las Vegas Raiders last year and also the Cowboys in the playoffs
@@nagaidehen9072he was also down seven against the Rams a couple weeks ago and tied the game before the half
It’ll stop when he wants 60 million a year and they can’t afford cmc and deebo and Fred Warner and hufungq and bosa and have a number 1 receiver as their number 2 and the best left tackle and a all pro fullback and don’t forget the top 3 tightend.
@@Lexidezi225I love how you’re trying to predict anything in hopes the 49ers lose what steam they continue to gain.
This has definitely turned into Nicks worst take. Very clearly waiting for one loss to say “see, not good”.
Lmao I could picture it perfectly.
he has some really bad takes void of all logic
Not his worst, but it's up there.. there is a lot to pick from.
If the 49ers go 19-1 to a SB victory Nick will forever only talk about the one loss for the next 15 years
...and he's had to wait a lot longer than he thought haha.
"IT'S THE SYSTEM!" What about with Trey? "IT'S McCAFFREY!" But the Panthers. "IT'S THE DEFENSE!" 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
You just summed up the entirety of an 18 minute video. I wish I would have seen your comment earlier. Would've saved me 18 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. 😂
Lance is defective. They dumped this bad choice on the gals. The gals going to get taken to the dance by niners. Several picks will Dak gift the niners. The vaunted Dallas defense will be exposed and ripped. Purdy will have a 300 plus yard day in an ez win. Niners SB bound even better than Eagles and Chiefs by far. Gals are 3rd or even 4th behind Lions. He k, Cardinals took Gals to the woodshed dance in their only win.
Looking forward to seeing this arse wippin and the gals fans crying again.
Cryin again Cryin Again good luck my fren cryin again. Wish there was an answer to this losin way! Cryin again!

@@edwinkubena9944You were right on some of this tonight 😂
I’m truly truly begging Nick to watch Purdy’s tape broken down by actual NFL QBs instead of just watching a 10 minute highlight of the game. Brock isn’t a massive stat but he’s literally the perfect player for this system and his decisiveness, smarts, and command of the plays makes him hard to beat.
Are we going to ignore the Raider's game from last year? Are we going to ignore that the 49er's were behind on Week 2 in the 2nd quarter? Are we going to ignore his 2nd half performance when they played the Cowboys in the playoffs?
it doesn’t fit the Purdy haters rhetoric so they never bring that up lol
I can see Nick Wright looking to the side and saying "ok... and?"
What performance in 2nd half. He threw a dropped interception prior to getting a TD. Scored 1 TD and on 19 pts? That's a great performance? See Hurts super bowl and super bowl throws!
Werent the Seahawks leading at halftime in the the wild card round ?
The biggest gripe against Purdy is that he never allows his team to get into a play-from-behind situation, an accomplishment that should be a feather in his cap.
Ong dude 😂 almost every time his opponent scores he almost always drives right down the field and puts more points on the board.
No... the biggest gripes against him are what you stated, but also that he has a weak arm, he plays with the most stacked team in the league, the analytics say he produced just at or below(at least for last season) of what could be expected based on the system(everyone's open). Also can't exclude the fact that in the biggest stage he's had so far his body failed him and you could chalk it up to a one time injury, but Jimmy Gs injury history started when he got pummeled when filling in for Brady(the year he got suspended) and he was looking like the real deal.
@@AleKaiTheGreat Lol guess you didn't see the last games bomb of 42 yards.
credit the D ..LIL BRO
He came from behind last year against the Raider's, and I believe it went into overtime, and Purdy led the game winning drive
Nick punches the air every time the 49ers win 🤣🤣🤣
I know I do 😅 Why!? WHyyyyy!!! 😅
I bet Brocks Dad throws Darts at Nick's face 😅
He does it because he knows deep down inside that his Chiefs are in trouble if they ever play the 49ers in the Superbowl again.
He knows the 49ers are a threat to his Chiefs.
Nick need to cut his hair if 49ers win this week against the cowboys
I love how every week, Purdy performs at a level that makes Nick’s stubborn take seem dumber and dumber.
It hilarious to watch😂 he also said he hasn't faced adversity, Niners were down 24-14 last season to the Raiders and Brock came back and won the game lol
If Purdy was a top five pick, Nick would be down on all fours praising him as elite.
He’s been lucky on at least 5 missed picks….sooooo
Okay, and Patrick Mahomes just coughed up 3 picks, against the Jets, Purdy still has zero on the season
@@nathanchildress5596 dude literally missed one pass in a game where he was throwing bombs lmao😭
People said Joe Montana was a system quarterback, who had weak arm that only could succeed by throwing short passes. They said that coach Walsh was responsible for his success. They said that for the first 5 years of his career.
Exactly! Nick is off his rocker.
Nick likes Geno Smith but you can easily say Geno only got good once he joined Pete Corrols system. You can apply his argument to every team.
Using this every time he hates again lol
Facts
It’s always boggled my mind how a good player in a team sport… can be discredited because he has good coaching & good teammates accompanying him… it’s never made any sense to me.
I blame the stat nerds. A lot of them are fanboys of certain players just because they put up pretty numbers instead of watching the actual games
I love how Nick says things like this like Andy Reid doesn’t make Mahomes life easier with his scheming and playcalling. He does a lot of things that Shanahan does lol
Couldn’t agree w you more!
Brock was the missing catalyst. A very underrated player thriving because he's a smart football player that offers a high iq and not susceptible to ego or insubordination.
Brock simply listens to his coach on the schemes and trusts himself with the execution.I can tell from each time he has to throw the ball away that he has completely exhausted his reads. The kid is at the beginning stages for goodness sakes. This is the reward for being a 49ers faithful fan since 78.
All this criticism of their humble qb is not a bad thing either. the team is going to be motivated by that.
I love Wildes 😂😂😂. He is the star of the show and says less than everyone else.
I agree . Keeps it short and sweet
Exactly..
i loved when he was sipping the mug during the heated debate 😂
@@TheFrostbittenFire yeah he makes me laugh with the little things he does
Sup Wildes. 😅
Conveniently leaving out the fact it’s literally his second year!
You could make a case that it is still his rookie year.
@@danstvguy He let Lawrence take his whole rookie year off from criticism and keeps ranking him like a star when he hasnt consistantly proven it yet. Then when Purdy plays like a star when he shoukd still be making a ton of rookie mistakes he discredits him... smh
literally?
Nick must be a joy to live with always having to be right at any cost.
his warriors takes are just like this. And the best part is entire family is full of warriors fans.
😂😂😂 so true!
I think that’s actually Brou!
I also think it’s really stupid how they keep saying Purdy needs to show he plays well in intense or coming from behind situations, but don’t take into account something simple like all his 3rd down conversions. Like their isn’t serious pressure on 3rd & 7 or 3rd & 8 etc…
They don't even give him credit for putting the 49ers in a situation where they DON'T need to make comeback wins or have balls thrown in tight windows all the time.
@@bigaesswangmane7804 Exactly. I'm a Giants fan, but that TD pass to Deebo Samuels in a very tight window was amazing. His ability to seemingly always make the right throw and stay poised under pressure is amazing. His anticipating and decision making is something that you just don't see from many young QBs, let alone veterans. His stats might not seem gaudy, but he's picking apart defenses like he's Tom Brady.
God forbid a QB have a good coach and good team to play with
It’s hilarious that he doesn’t see that mahomes has also had good coach and amazing offensive weapons!!!
@@badomen9057Mahomes won the Superbowl last year with a 7th round running back, a couple journeymen receivers and Kelce 😂
Brou is right, the problem is Nick has no way to quantify or prove his belief. You could argue Andy Reid’s system also makes every QB looks good. But we’ll never know how good or bad Mahomes will be away from Reid because it literally may never happen.
Exactly. Mahomes is the most talented QB Reid has ever coached. But let’s not pretend Mahomes didn’t land into a great situation either. Reid makes his life a lot easier. We’re not talking about Mahomes the same way if he’s in Chicago instead of KC
Mahomes was drafted in an unbelievable situation but but but but but nick has no answer
@@417Graphixmahomes wouldn't have even made it to ONE superbowl if he was drafted by the bears instead tbh lol
@@tgs5725 I'd say Mahomes would have been injured several times and retired as a mediocre QB is he was drafted to the Bears or the Bengals.
Take away CMC Deebo Aiuke and kittle, and win a superbowl, and then he can have that level of respect lol.
Everything Nick is saying is right…y’all are just mad because he is going against the grain
Nick must think his audience are morons that dont think for themselves, because the tape on Purdy is GOOD, just like Shanahan said. Hes decisive, accurate, elusive and LEADS THE LEAGUE IN TIGHT WINDOW THROWS. He also completes lots of high degree of difficulty throws such as back shoulder throws downfield. Yes, the system boosts his stats, but hes a huge reason its thriving.
Yeah! Nick is full of 💩💩💩💩to say Brock isn’t a leader. HE IS THE LEADER AND THE NINERS ALL KNOW IT!!
I don't understand why Nick wants to see tight window throws so bad. Purdy is smart/quick with his progressions and allows him to find the opening in the defense and puts the ball where only his receivers can get it. No need to make a throw in triple coverage just to look cool.
Debo touchdown and Aiyuk touchdown on Peterson wasn’t tight enough of a window?
Right? His reasoning is so stupid. I completely agree with you. I’ll take a QB who knows how to go through progressions and fin the open man over a guy who’s gonna force throws in tight coverage. The Niners skill positions are so great so a lot of the targets are open
His touchdown pass against the Giants this season was about as tight of a window as you can get and it was an absolute dime and there are plenty of other examples of him making throws with pinpoint accuracy and giving his receivers the ball in stride which all them to get many yards after catch. I would take Brock Purdy over many other starting QBs.
Every Quarterback is a system quarterback , Mahomes , Brady they all are
Exactly, everyone performs differently under different systems.
Not so much Brady, he did go win another SB with the Bucs. I think he was more important than the system, look what’s happened to NE after he left
Exactly look how mahomes looks after his oc left
Poor choice with the goat that being said he didnt say he was trash but at some point a qb needs to be the leader not just another good teammate. Theres a reason why qbs are paid alot more now that being said for what hes paid hes amazing. And im a philly fan. People have to remember that the cost of the qb has to part of that question dont expect a mahomes if hes not paid like him.
@@Idontagree1the Bucs were bad that year until Brady told them to start using old Pats plays that he was good at. Remember, they won that Chip as a wild card team
Even his own cohosts are disgusted with his take at this point. And to say he needs to see Brock throw great passes into tight windows means he hasn’t watched a single game. Even the highlights show him dropping dimes 😂
Exactly he’s exposing himself
Absolutely, Nick is straight up not paying attention if he is saying BS like this. Purdy already has a highlight reel of incredible throws this season alone, let alone last season as well.
Dawg Brock purdy hasn’t even had a full season worth of tape and y’all acting like it’s not valid for someone to say I need to see more
@@Hail2daChiefit’s been 11 games that’s he’s looked identical in every game, so NO it’s not valid. You saying “ we need more time “ is a contradiction because if Brock was drafted top 5 Pick everyone would be saying “ this is why the 49ers went to get him , he’s shown he’s elite “ that’s basically just a way a hate on Brock but safely.
Purdy will mess up eventually and everyone will switch on him really quick. Fairweather fans on the 9rs love it when you're winning but cost the game and you're dead. Purdy is seeing ghosts, an elite pass rush will stress him out due to his injury
He really can't accept that Purdy came in and is being successful. Nobody is saying he's that guy you can throw into any team situation and do what he's been doing. It's his confidence in himself and knows that he was never expected to be where he is but hasn't let it mess with him. Not saying he's Tom Brady but he had the mindset that if he ever got the chance to get on the field they'd never take him off. Like Bru said don't punish him for winning in the great situation he's in.
People really acting like Brady didn't have a top 5 defense and hof weapons every year on the Pats.
If Nick actually sat down with someone who knew what they were talking about football-wise, went over the game film, and broke everything down instead of just watching games at normal speed, he'd change his mind. You don't notice everything at normal speed. Not saying that he'd start thinking Purdy is Brady or anything like that, but he'd see just how good he has been playing. Not just stat-wise but mechanically, his decision making and the way he improves every game. He now started have complete control of the offense and is recognizing coverages and calling audibles based on those coverages that he's seeing.
@spcmegreg it still wouldn't make a difference. Nick refuses to admit the truth about Purdy because of something personal. He's seen him play from behind against the Raiders last season, and against the Rams this season. He's seen him make tight window throws against Seattle in the playoffs last season, and against Pittsburgh this season.
As a chiefs fan, the tight widow passes ive seen this season are not the system. It helps him but brock purdy is a top 10 quarterback
Thank you! I watched purdy thread the ball between 2 defenders to BA in the end zone and somehow that was a system QB throw that jimmy g could never make.
he has the most tight window throws completed this season. What else do you want a qb to do?
love tight widows.
@@terrythegnome2408 fr. Now I just need to see him do this over multiple seasons then every doubt is erased.

Trey is a ‘I’ll put the team on my back’ type QB like Josh Allen/Lamar except trey isn’t really talented enough to do that. And That’s not what the 49ers want, they want a guy who can get the ball out quick to their playmakers.

It doesn't matter because he's not losing games. I didn't think he was all that either, but I can't deny the fact he plays well enough to win games time and time again. Yes his team is good, but that's not his fault.
Even as a die hard Cowboys fan that has a history with the 49ers, as a fan of a team that has a HUGE game against them in a few days. This is a garbage take from Nick. Being a good QB in a system that sets the team up to win, is better than being an elite QB in a losing system.... he fails to realise Purdy is not "just a guy in that system" he is a huge part of why the system works so well. Take the L Nick, your embarrassing yourself
But he's not a huge part of why the system works so well. The system worked well with Jimmy. Brock hasn't even played a full season in the NFL and you're ready to make Brock one of the main reasons why the 49ers are dominant. It doesn't hurt that he has arguably the best RB and best TE in the game right now, or an offensive scheme that has been shown to be plug-n-play for QB, or a defense lead by Nick Bosa that is arguably the best defense in the league. Eventually Brock won't be playing for a stacked superbowl contender and will have to actually be great. Something he has NEVER given any evidence to. Theres a difference from "not making mistakes" and "throwing the game winning throw".
Purdy will choke at some point and everyone can shut up, he's just running a system and has slightly more talent than Jimmy G. He's just there
@@MmaMadman85system never looked this good with jimmy g… even after the cmc trade last year. With shanny and Lynch’s ability to draft skill positions Purdy very well could have elite weapons his whole career. Just enjoy watching some entertaining 9ers games and quit trying so hard to hate

Why isn’t Sam Darnold better than or similar to Purdy in Kyle’s system? AGAIN. If Lance put up these stats and played like this on the Niners, he would be calling him a future star.
Jimmy G's numbers were the same as Purdy's once they got CMC. Trey never played with Kittle or CMC or even half the weapons that Purdy has now.
No Nick, nobody’s holding Puca Nakua’s draft status against him, he’s only played 4 games and Kupp is gonna take some targets from him when he comes back. Most peoples have been very impressed by him. Purdy’s sample size of 11 starts might not be large but it includes 2 Playoff games, and hasn’t had a bad game yet.
In those two playoff games he played less than five quarters.
what are you talking about? he literally beat seahawks and the cowboys@@Willtellthetruth
@@WilltellthetruthHow did Purdy play less than 5 quarters when him and San Francisco beat Seattle and Dallas in the playoffs??
@@Willtellthetruthjust stop talking, you’re not informed enough to argue 😂
@@Fernando_616😂😂😂like what are these people talking about
People will call purdy a system qb but a lot of other qbs would probably struggle too if they left their coaches.Look at Russ when he left Seattle,he’s looked bad without Carrol and hasn’t looked like his old MVP candidate self. The reason ppl call purdy a system qb is bc he wasn’t a 1st round pick and he isnt freakishly athletic, it was the same story with Brady when he was dominating.
Because it would mean that they were wrong in their assessment. People who played in the league especially the QB position, knows that Purdy isn't just some system QB. It's these people like Nick -who never played a down of football in his life- that likes to call anybody not named Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow a system QB, especially if they're playing on Kyle's team. I didn't see Hoyer, Mullens, Bethard, or Josh Johnson do it. Jimmy gave me mini heart attacks everytime he threw the ball.. i dont get those feelings when watching Brock.
When bru said put wildes in there from 20 years ago, I lost it 😂
Great show 👍
Nick is trying so hard to make himself look better after those terrible Purdy takes that he just got destroyed on. He just needs to take the loss. It is starting to make him look like a crazy person.
He's starting to sound like skip Bayless with those awfully Brady takes😂
Then why did Josh Johnson not look good in the niners system if anyone looks good in it?
I don't think he's saying it makes any QB look good, but it makes top 15-20 QBs like Jimmy G look top 5.
I can hardly waited for BIG MOUTH Nick Wright to be proven Nick Wrong.
It’s funny how the interrupter says “hold on” let me make my point when he’s always interrupting!
The amount of missed throws from Qb's ever since Shanahan got to niners then to Purdy putting up 30+ is crazy 😂 he's perfect for niners, simple. Offense occasionally drops some of his better passes as well
exactly like does nick not remember that incredible play making throw for a td he had to aiyuk last year in the wild card game that aiyuk dropped? that was a mahomes play through and through and yet if mahomes was the one in that exact situation he would've rightfully blamed the receiver and not him, but with purdy it just doesn't even become a talking point or he gets the blame. it's just ridiclous
They forgot already how Matt Ryan was an MVP with Kyle System as well.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that... Matty ice was a real one 100%
Exactly. Proves nick’s point 100%
@@TheRealMvVnot really because Matt Ryan was already playing decent before Kyle showed up
If it was all Shanahan then why are Ryan’s numbers basically indistinguishable before 2016 when Ryan wasn’t MVP, and after 2016, when Shanahan left to coach the Niners? The system helps. You STILL need a good QB to make it work and a GREAT QB to make it look like Purdy does. Especially when that QB has 12 starts in the NFL.
@@TheRealMvVit just shows his double standard. based on his logic mahomes is also system QB. Andy Reid had success without mahomes on different teams. They also have had historically good offensive weapons.
everyone forgets that back and forth game Niners and Purdy as quarterback had with Raiders last year
7:50 Brou almost put Hands On Nick 👊 😂
I like the cowboys this year and think they could go all the way. That said i hope the 49ers go undefeated just so nick will admit hes wrong at some point because purdy is clearly a impact player some times you need the right guy in a system he is that guy
It's hilarious to watch Nick want to give Brock purdy no credit for the winds but give dak Prescott no responsibility for getting any closer.
And I'm an eagles fan I have no skin in the game.... But if you ask me right now as an eagles fan who would I rather face in the NFC championship..... San Francisco with Brock purdy San Francisco with Dak Prescott.... I would much rather Dak be there. Because I know at some point during the game he's going to give me one. And the fact that that is true..... Is why Purdy is better.
Well, Brock doesn't create "the winds" so why should he get credit for them?
@@michaelharrington75 the quarterback always gets credit for the wins and losses. It's no different than any other team. That's why it's hilarious to me that Nick is trying to imply that Dak Prescott is more trustworthy. As if I haven't seen him fail for 7 years straight in the spectacular fashion when it counted most.
Hands down best show in sports 😂
Every quarterback ever is a system quarterback, that is literally there job to run the offense well and efficiently.
This show is good but Wildes makes it awesome! Incredible intro and humor throughout! It could be called The Kevin Wildes show.
Maybe it should be called that.
After watching the Niners drag Jimmy on deep playoff runs year after year I'm stoked to finally have a competent system QB in San Fran. But the reason the Niners arent favorites to win the Superbowl right now is because people don't trust Purdy yet. I don't think anyone is calling him a star...
14:22 this needs to be my text message ringtone
When I saw Nick throw up that pie chart I lost my mind 🤦♂️
It’s a team sport, right? Is Mahomes throwing to himself? Handing off to himself? Blocking for himself??? Every QB is a system QB
Hurts is a system QB by Nick’s logic since he had two super star WRs, the best offensive line in the league, and a system tailor made for him.
Actually, Mahomes had 6 Passing Yards & 6 Receiving Yards on the same play last year.🤣💀
So we gone act like Patrick Mahoney wasn’t in the perfect situation
Lol yeah purdy is mahomes gtfoh
You watch Mahomes Play and you think he wouldn't be good anywhere else? Dude has possibly the greatest set of tangibles combined with intangibles in NFL history, he was going to be great regardless of where he went
@@brandonjackson6323someone’s reading comprehension levels are low
I think the answer lies somewhere in between. Mahomes was in a good situation. However, it wasn't a guarantee that going to play for the Chiefs under Andy Reid was going to equal Hall of Fame, Superbowl winning QB. However, it's also true that Mahomes wasn't a lock to be good on any team. He certainly wasn't a guaranteed HOF QB coming out of Texas Tech and there's no guarantee that he could overcome the dysfunction of some of the teams in the league.
@@TomSNCWould Mahomes be great in the Bears. No man, Mahomes legit went to a perfect system to fit his style the best. I do not believe have Mahomes been drafted anywhere else, he wouldn't be as great.
Even with Mahomes, EVERYONE wanted to see him without Reek and Kelce. The team around them counts. However, unlike Mahomes, Purdy is not the catalyst that seems to be driving the team. Nick wants to see him drive the team.
You haven’t been paying attention. Everyone on the team has stated that Purdy owned the huddle as soon as he was brought in to replace Jimmy and the vets have said that voting him as team captain was an easy choice.
lol and how exactly did Mahomes look without Kelce week 1? the argument Nick uses about Jimmy G is the EXACT same thing as what happened with Alex Smith before Mahomes. both Mahomes and Purdy are the perfect qbs for their respective offenses and were obvious upgrades from vet qbs who had career years before them (Smith with Kelce/Tyreek/Hunt, Jimmy G with CMC/Deebo/Kittle). since Purdy has been the starter he’s had 7 TD drives within the last minute of a half, that’s ELITE and shows he can DRIVE the team when he needs to
I was sleeping on Purdy but now I'm awake lol
Nick is the definition of goal post mover ...
So ridiculous. When Josh Allen threw those interceptions against the jets, all the criticism from nick was “he should’ve known he didn’t need to go deep so much to beat the jets”. Then purdy does smart game management moves and nick faults him for it
Hey man he hates Josh Allen too. Join the club 😂
Warner must of been a system qb as well he's wasn't drafted so he must of been worse trash then Purdy.
I wish someone would just make a bet with him and if he's wrong he needs to leave the show and get off twitter. Or only talk about women's soccer, at least there no one would care a out his crazy takes.
The start of Purdy's career is so similar to Dak's rookie year
Niners up 28-10 live on Sunday night. Now what will Nick say? Just an idiot. Oh Niners just got an interception!
Purdy can play in any system in the league now will he be as good in those systems I don’t think so. Would he still be a good player in those systems? Yes I watched him at Iowa State for four years pretty is so much better than what people say and it just happened to be that the 49ers system is a perfect fit for his skill set and what he likes to do
Every player on the 49ers is a system player according to how Nick sees things.
They set completely different bars for certain qbs and what there allowed to do for the media to not try to talk them out of the league it actually has turned me off of the nfl the last couple years
Is he a system qb? Yes. Is he a very good system qb? Also yes
Kevin gave the look like why am I catching strays, lol
Nick is just getting abused in these Niners segments 😂
Nick PLEASE LET THIS ONE GO, yes Purdy will eventually lose, but he is the QB/Leader of the team
Nick's credibility is going the way of Skip Bayless.
Where has he been wrong
@@evanrushing7495are you not paying attention to his mental gymnastics? 😂
@@evanrushing7495When NFL veterans on YT who break down Purdy's film & say the complete opposite of what this clown(Nick Wrong) says.
I'm not saying Brock is a system QB, but I don't blame ppl for thinking so considering Jimmy G took them deep into the playoffs and he still was shipped out. I think any QB could win 10 games with this team. Not a knock on Brock, but more a compliment to the team as a whole.
I mean, honestly looking back, we may never have gone again to the super bowl with Jimmy. Either because of his constant injuries or the errant passes that turn into picks. Of which, Purdy doesn't do.
@19andrewhb92 I've been a Brock fan since I saw him every year against my Sooners. Him and Breece Hall were fun to watch at ISU. I think Brocks biggest asset is his smart play. Your team is stacked, no need to try too hard and make mistakes. Good luck Sunday night from a Dallas fan.
What are we even talking about? He is a very good, efficient QB in a good situation. You can't blame him for being drafted to the 49ers. He would also do well on other teams like Washington, Minnesota, Packers or Rams, though not that well as in San Fran. Like Brou says, we need two more seasons to see to see if he's elite. His draft position shouldn't influence his evaluation, either, because in the end it doesn't matter in which round you're drafted, i.e. he isn't bad but he's also not Tom Brady.
So why didn't Mullens and Beathard succeed with the same roster had?
By Nick's logic, the Niners should have won the NFC championship game, even when Brock Purdy went down. He's clearly a big part of their success. Get off this embarrassingly bad take, Nick.
exactly what i keep thinking too everytime he brings up the niners system and treats purdy as disposable. like nick, we already saw what happens when purdy's out (especially against an equally great team), they start losing again. that nfc championship game proved how valuable he is to the niners system, not the other way around. if he beats the eagles later on this year it'll prove it even more
I mean they had a running back playing qb. And they’ve been to the SB/NFCCG without purdy. He’s clearly playing great, but the system clearly is more important than the qb.
Nick's take is reasonable. Joe Montana made a name for himself by being the Comeback Kid. Cool under pressure, able to drive the length of the field for a game winning score with minutes left on the game clock. Purdy hasn't shown this one aspect of his game because the team has been playing so well they never put him in that position. Whenever the scenario comes up and Purdy handles the situation with a positive outcome, I'd imagine Nick will give him all the flowers.
That’s not true he came back from 4 of the 11 games he’s played
So you think the Niners now are better than Cool Joe's Niners?
@@MobblivingI don't think Nick is talking about coming back from a deficit in the middle of a game like the Raiders game last year. He wants a scenario where there is only enough time left in the game for two outcomes--either score or lose.
@@johntrujillo2968 I'm not saying that. I'm saying we've seen Purdy do well with the game tied, in the lead, and during deficits in the middle of the game. But we've never seen him QB a game winning drive. If he does well in that scenario, then he's the complete package and can be placed amongst the elite.
@@Mobbliving he’s not talking about being down in the midst of the ebbs and flows of a football game and taking the lead at some point in the game. He’s talking about the team needing heroics at the end of the game from the QB in a situation where it’s do or die and the defense knows you have to throw the ball. It’s totally different.
It's not just Purdy. It's the whole team of talent
Be prepared to be impressed: 252 yards 4 TD's
Nick is at peak hater form with Purdy lol
