Hello, I have been researching this for my Grandfather's diabetic wound care and the process for obtaining both PRP and PRF is the same... they are both obtained from drawing blood from your own body. Blood is made up of some of this platelet rich fiber and platelet rich plasma (PRF and PRP). After drawing blood, it is placed in the centrifuge machine, which spins and separates 3 things: the platelet rich plasma, platelet-poor plasma, and blood - all separated from each other (kind of like oil & water in a glass... you can see the 3 separate layers in the tube on this video). im still not sure as to the process of obtaining PRF as opposed to prp.. what's in those little tubes that makes the difference ?
