I am a South Indian and I used to be body shamed for my dark skin and weight all my life. Even my own parents were ashamed of me and would hide me so no one sees me, as it was shameful for them. I grew up hating myself and struggled with my weight all through my 20s till I finally realized how to lose weight the healthy way. I cannot do anything about my dark complexion though, but who cares! This is how God created me. I am wonderfully and fearfully made 💝❤️
