I had a dpf problem, sorted that. Compression getting passed injectors, replaced seals and fitted superceded injector clamp nuts and spacers. I now have a glow plug down so got to sort that. It's a 2013 with only 80k on it, I definitely wouldn't buy another.
There are like 10 engines in total on Qubo, Bipper, Nemo. Which one is the best? I know Fiat Qubo have the most economical 1.3 MultiJet 75 HP 16 valve and the most powerful 1.3 MultiJet 95 HP.
Well I had the front strut swivels done on mine along with 2 new shockers on the back cost me £320 ish at a garage. It also had to have complete new injectors due to very low pressure it was difficult to start when the engine was hot they cost just over £1000 at a diesel specialist. The timing chain has also been replaced however I do like the vehicle a lot mine is a Bipper Tepee it's the same mechanically as the van. All vehicles have there faults no matter what it is oh and it costs me £35 a year to tax it's and less than £200 a year to insure and I have no plans to swap it anytime soon for one of those awful milk floats called EV's.
I just bought a 2018 1.3 HDI Euro 6 Bipper. It has run about 6200miles / 100000km. Noticed when I start it cold the engine runs very rough for a few seconds. It drives fine after that. Can it be the timing chain? My old Bipper 1.4 belt driven sounds Ok when starting cold.
That rattling noise sounds almost all diesel engine man. My Renault 1.5 dci which is a timing belt driven sound the same with thay ticking rattling noise.
With all due respect, you clearly don't have much experience with these engines. Ask any mechanic about timing chain problems on a 1.3 cdti engine.

*I have a Fiat Fiorino Premio semi Automatik transmission which of course is the same exact as the Peugeot Bipper , Fiat Qubo, and Citron Nemo1.3 multi jet and with 298 K I had very few problems. I had to replace the clutch plates both of them in the semi -automatik tranny, I did all new glow plugs about 80k ago still good and I did replace the strut mounts about 100k ago other than that nothing else except tires and brakes timing chain original and fine with no stretching issues. Pretty solid vehicles*
Yep, ours puffs smoke from a cold start (turbo) 🙄. Also rattles a bit from cold (timing chain), also engine coughs and splutters from cold (injector) and now it's loosing a small amount of coolent. (130000 miles)
I've had mine 4 years, bought at 130,000 miles now on 175,000. Absolute tank. Had to replace timing chain last year but other than that she's served me well
Majority the faults you mentioned are typical diesel engine issues. Nothing new really, apart from the strut mounts. Add in dpf and egr issue with almost every bloody diesel engines.
These vans are ABSOLUTE SHITE!!!! Bought a '68 plate, brand new. Changed oil every 3k miles, used as a car, not van, never went over 65mph, IMPECCABLY looked after. At 11k miles top-mounts failed, at 15k front spring snapped....now at a MERE 18k miles I have a timing chain rattle, most likely the chain tensioner. You couldn't pay me to have one of these crap vans again. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Super efficient car and solid as a tank I had one I did my business with and I was so far very satisfied the day I sold it I felt sad
Very, very useful many thanks.

I have one solid as a tank but there is a problem with the egr and its a 2014 and a 103,000 miles is it worth getting fixed or get a new van
Egr issues exist for most vehicles, it's not specific to the van. Get it fixed.

Just had timing chain done on mine. It’s done 93k miles and started rattling really bad. It cost £750 for anyone wondering how much it costs
Engine out, or can be left in as I'm reading?
Left in
Seen one of these with an abarth swap done, make quite the little toy 😂
sills rot from the inside too all suffer this and instrument cluster failure lights glow never turning off and lcd dies
Oh dear.

There can't be smoke from the exhaust - it has a DPF right?
A vehicle will smoke from the exhaust if it has turbo, injector or engine problems, even with a DPF.
Even though the DPF filter is designed to remove particles? Makes zero sense to me. @@huntswoodcommercials6617

Fiat Fiorino - PEUGEOT BIPPER video🤔
From a mechanics perspective they are the same vehicle, everything is the same apart from the badge.
