This is the content I need. Transport solutions for kings of war is what I seek. What I seek has been seeking me.
Consider your seekage sought.
Interesting - as someone who has to carry armies and terrain on public transport to get to my wargame club, this looks like an improvement over my current mix of bags for life, takeaway tupperware and and foam trays!
If you end up buying one, let them know you heard about it from me. 😉
I've actually built my Dwarf Army specifically with ease of transport in mind. So no weapons/arms above head height, no model overhang and felt glued to the mdf bases to make everything easy to stack. IIRC I could fit 2000pts into 5 of the old KoW "cassette" boxes, although I've since upgraded to 2x 3.5L storage boxes, with room for ~4000pts of Dwarfs.
Finding ways to efficiently transport this army has been an interesting challenge, and part of why making this army has been so enjoyable. :)
Seems like Dwarfs would be the ideal army for this, being stout and compact.
Also use KR cases and have a 2 case backpack, and a 4 case metal container. The metal container is fine to transport figures by air in the cargo hold. Great stuff.
If you play Goblins they upgrade you to 1st class.
Nice score!
One day, my child, you shall reach the celebrity heights and be bombarded with merch.
My only multibase game is 10mm but interesting to see storage solutions for big blocks.
How do you transport your 10mm blocks?
@@Andy2D6 right now we only game at home so they sit on a shelf but the 20x40mm bases fit very well into the single fig foam cutouts in standard trays. They sit short enough as well to mostly be protected.
Nice! I use stackable cake carriers that I got from Argos a couple of years ago and painted with ferrous paint (to be magnetic) - it's a bit unwieldy and not really designed for it but does the trick until I upgrade to something fancy. Quite like the look of the miniatures art team wooden cases, but would want a bag to put them in
I own far too many plastic and cardboard cases. The backpack was the next logical step.
@@Andy2D6 after mulling it over since your video I'm goig down the DIY route and making my own a-case out of plywood and steel sheet offcuts. Reckon it's doable with an Amazon carry-on rucksack for £80 or so.
good stuff. I wonder if lining the boxes with mag sheet would be the best of all worlds?
I would have to consider the additional weight, but it sounds doable.
