A normal house fire will double in size every 16 seconds until it runs out of fuel, add to that a battery, which is basically an incendiary bomb and there’s no fire department on earth that could get ahead of it.
@@DevoteeCT All buildings should have at minimum a bike course outside so the bikes can be parked safely by a street light and an outlet installed in every street lamp for bikes can be recharged while parked with a cut-off timer or switch when the battery is full. Until there's a way safely store these bikes you can't just ban them as they fuel the delivery business all threw NYC. Everything ordered via door dash and Uber comes delivered via an electric bike. Laptops, cellphones, wheelchairs, and many other household devices run on lithium batteries and they explode as well so why are those devices not banned in the home?
They should ban e-bike batteries that don't have a BMS system (battery management system) installed for safety and all bikes must be made in America. Also how about bike carousels outside of houses and nycha buildings parking bikes with an available outlet for charging that takes power from the street lamps that can easily be used as a power source because ghetto people know how to make an outlet from tapping into street lamps now? NO MORE CHINA BIKES ONLY MADE IN AMERICA PRODUCTS WITH PROPER SAFETY REGULATIONS AND INSPECTION
Your phone, laptop, car key battery, smart watch, doorbell cam, pretty much all wireless devices would be without batteries. Just cant use that cheap chinese crap. Companies probably cut costs by selling devices with cheap chinese batteries vs batteries made in Japan.
Yes, the rent is cheap but you get what you pay for living in the most incompetent borough in NYC, the bronx. I would like to use other choice words but I won’t. Place your bets, there will be another fire next week. 🤦🏽♂️🙄😂
I want to know what’s is happening today in the bronx

Stop selling them.
I'm beginning to wonder if " started by a lithium ion battery " is the new " a squirrel ate through the wires " when it comes to fire investigations ?
Not getting fast water on the Visible Burning material will also allow it to spread. Try that next time, chief.
There’s a lot like 10-20 helicopters
They aren't sending us their brightest..
They aren't sending us good batteries.
It’ll be stolen if left outside
Probably, but can't take them inside safely. Maybe people will just have to go back to analog bikes.

Because people are stealing the scooters, which is why they put it at their homes in place of business
