There are others from opened swingout positions that can be used. These are frequently used in West Coast and Carolina Shag. In Carolina Shag, there's one similar to the one you did except that the lead and follow end up in a side by side position and do the Shorty George (called Boogie Walk in Shag). There's a nice one in Lindy that starts out like the common way to get in to the tandem Charleston then instead of going into the tandem Charleston lead the follow forward from behind the lead leader's right hand to followers elbow to do a tuck turn. This move works well in Lindy, West Coast and Salsa.
