I have thought of this oc au where yuu or an oc is immortal and they have wished to die so in the dream they die and wake up. Malleus is like wondering how they woke up and they just say “A dead man doesn’t dream.”
You know... I've been thinking about people who overblotted and about Yuu overblotting (but ig that's impossible since they're magicless)... And then I thought for a second... But what if Crowley overblots, too?
me when my yuu can barely remember malleus’s name and would probably get sleep’d. (If not, they would be bored as hell since they there is no favorite people other than my friend’s yuu)
I kinda wish this understood the implications of Malleus’s overblot a bit more….. it’s feels shallow. Malleus isn’t to blame for his overblot completely and it feels as though from Yuu’s perspective in this animatic it is….? But Yuu of all people should know that overblot has an underlying problem in the situation that leads to the victim having an overblot. Malleus in particular… his overblot wasn’t really selfish. He’s a child who has never been forced to have such sudden change brought upon him in that way. He doesn’t know true loss because until Silver and Sebek he never really knew others that would die or leave him that were close to him. His parents being already gone before he hatched and everything. He’s losing Lilia and had no prior time to prepare for that loss, the most essential and important figure to him in his life, on top of that he might lose Yuu, one of the first people he’s really gotten to see as a close friend. Such significant losses so close together, if he were a magic less human he might shut down and be unable to fully be himself for awhile. But for a fae, he’s like in this deep denial of grief which he’s unable to break free from due to the blot.

A ver si entendí bien, ya que mi inglés está medio atrofiado JSJD Según entendí, Malleus está enamorado de Yuu, sin embargo, Yuu ama a Silver, por lo que aparte de estar en estado de Overblot Malleus también se volvió medio yandere al ponerse a sí mismo en el paraíso de Yuu en vez de a Silver (aunque eso hace que ya no sea el paraíso de Yuu, sino el de Malleus, pero supongo que quería tener al verdadero en vez de inventarse a un Yuu de sueños), por lo que no se sabe si Silver le corresponde a Yuu, por eso, según lo que entendí, Malleus le dice a Yuu algo de que no tiene oportunidad con Silver pero con él sí (?) Y Yuu le responde que realmente eso no importa
