- Today it's time for the June 2020 Bullet Journal Plan With Me video! This time I'm showing you how to get this darker, mysterious jungle-inspired monthly setup, that will give some challenge even for more experienced bullet journalers! ^^
I've had these cuter and lighter themes for the past months in my bullet journal, so I really wanted to test out some black backgrounds and darker colors. It was super fun to play with all these new decorations, without of course forgetting the planning aspect from this month. I really tried to focus on the goal-setting in this monthly setup, as well as leave some room for thoughts and things I want to learn about.
As always I really hope you'll enjoy watching this jungle plan with me video from June 2020, maybe even get some inspiration out of it, and have an amazing month where ever you are! ^^ ❤

11:55 "I hope you're not bored of this same cursive font" GIRL! Your writing isn't the main focus of the spreads, your beautiful and incredible art is! It's almost better to leave the fonts simple because you don't want anything to distract from your stunning paintings! You always outdo yourself, I think each month, "no way the theme or paintings can be any better than this" .. but you ALWAYS make each theme and painting so much more incredible than the last! And I love when you tell us the realistic side of it too and let us know when you struggle with getting a drawing right or the colors/shading right. All in all, this theme was stunning, keep up the amazing work!

You mentioned you keep a diary, which is something I have been thinking of doing as well! Could you give us some idea of how you journal? Do you simply write about what happened each day or are you using it more as a self development tool? I'm really curious ^^
I usually write diary in the morning and for me it's literally a place to braindump whatever comes to my mind 😄 I think of it as getting everything random I've been thinking about out of my mind and on to the paper, so I can then focus better on what I'm actually supposed to do during the day. ☺️ I used to write two Leuchtturm pages a day, but it felt a bit much so currently I write one full page and the last thing I write are two of my "life goals" so that I'm reminded of them every day! 😄

That tiger was fabulous. Out of curiosity, could you draw that tiger now without looking at any reference?
Hmm that's an interesting question! 😄 I think I'd be able to draw a cartoony version of a tiger, but more photo realistic approach would still be very difficult without a reference.

Haha it's Japan! ☺️ I was SO lucky to get here just before everything started going down (I came in the very beginning of March) and we've been able to follow our plans almost perfectly! I've posted some updates to my Instagram, because I don't know how to include stuff like that in my videos... 😅😂 (I think most people don't care which is totally understand, lol 😂)

I was thinking about doing an in depth tiger tutorial! ☺️ I don't know how to explain the leaves better because I'm not super talented on that field either, so my advice would literally be 1. find good pictures 2. copy and repeat 😂😂😅 lol

Humm, maybe a slower drawing tutorial for a whole tiger (the whole body in slightly different posture) might be a good idea ☺️ It would target same points but still be different from this!

And honestly I have no youtube channel or social apps
So what can I add in section
For me it will be mostly UA-cam and Instagram posting days and keeping track of the stuff I'm planning to edit and post. :) You could use similar calendar for "important days" of June, maybe house/room cleaning schedule, some kind of project schedule, or even writing down a positive thought from each day of the month ☺️

A very silly thing, but I can't help but notice you still seem to have quite a few pages in this notebook! Do you swap to a new one after June because you want six months in each one? 😊
Haha you're right, there're still some left 😄 It would probably be enough for another one or two months, but I like to keep the six month cycle since it makes a bit more sense for me. And I always need space for sketching, trying out pens and stickers anyways, so that's what the rest of the pages will be filled with, so they won't go to waste! ☺️

The tiger is missing wrists... that's why its legs look off. Tigers have bones and muscle...
Oh, who would've thought! 😄 Okay but jokes aside I guess I should have defined the wrists a bit more... It was little difficult to add shadows to the body but maybe I'll learn for the next time.

You can use the books to read section for anything you want! Maybe series to watch, videos to watch, things to do, things to start...
I'll write a summary of the things I'm learning, so for example if I decide to take an online writing course or practice certain watercoloring technique, I'll write some of the best advice there ☺️

Would you say me what was the signs of your habit tracker
I use the signs to represent the habits! ☺️ So there's a clock that means wake up 5-6am, small Y symbol for doing yoga, a Japanese character for studying Japanese, a pen for writing etc. ☺️ You could come up with something small and simple for any habits you personally wanna track!
