Can these be connected to a Beolab 9? Like using an LG TV with WiSa and connect two Beolab 8 and the Beolab 9 as the subwoofer?
Would these benefit from adding a subwoofer?
Hi Jim, Thanks for your question and we hope you enjoyed the content.
There's a few considerations when it comes to adding a subwoofer but in short, yes small speakers will almost always benefit from adding a subwoofer as the low frequencies are the most demanding and so by routing them to a dedicated speaker, it lets the speakers breathe and ultimately sound better. The NEED however can depend on what you listen to and so we would always recommend a showroom visit and/or home demo to discuss your requirements as it may just be that the Beolab 8 can go low enough on its own or if you listen at low levels then or even subwoofer isn't suitable in your room then something like the Beolab 28 would be more fitting. If you email us at info@bollostore.com one of the team can get in touch to have a more in depth chat about your requirements. Thanks David & Robert
