    They should have a game in the all star weekend where it's just retired players vs retired players.

      @jimifriedman18 9 років тому +3

      ***** He's right. They don't have any legitimate way to count the blocks from back then. Not every game was recorded. There's a reason they don't have a BPG stat for certain players.

    • @jimifriedman18
      @jimifriedman18 9 років тому +4

      ***** Every era had it's weakness that allowed other players to dominate. 60's Centers were just way bigger than everyone else. 80's to 90's most guard not named Jordan or Magic Johnson were generally not that athletic. 00's lack of true centers allow most teams to get beat up on the inside, and Lebron James to dominate because there's no force inside that can usually stop him. Things change.

      1. Wilt
      2. Hakeem
      3. Russell
      4. Kareem
      5. Shaq
      I put Kareem at 4 because he always had a really good point guard with him, which helps being a Center, and he also played when big me started to diminish, and then around the time of his retirement talented Centers began developing.

    I know he wasn't getting defended at all, but if Hakeem played in the League today he would absolutely annihilate everyone

    Is it a stretch to say Hakeem at this age would still be a great contributor off the bench? Limited minutes no doubt, but in those minutes, he'd prolly dominate most bigs today lol

      He could still probably play 10 minutes off the bench. That spin & hesitation move still messes people up.
