- At one time, this was the most difficult Via Ferrata of Slovenia.
Not knowing what to expect I started the climb over prepared. At the end, it proved to be a beautiful, short Via Ferrata that I climbed twice consecutively.

When I wanted to start Via Feratta my friends told me they will take me to one that will show if I am made for this sport, this was my first Via Feratta and it was very difficult for me. But when we revisited it a couple months later it went very smoothly.
He in my opinion is a good friend. I usually try persuade the people coming with me to start with a more difficult Via Ferrata compared to their tolerance levels to feel the fear, the pain, the thrill of losing control. If I was him I would've done the same and asked you to test your limits. This Via Ferrata I did twice that day. From what I see, all Via Ferrata in Slovenia are short enough for you to increase the risk factor by changing the way you climb them.
You finding it easier on your return means you have a strong, sharp mind which I admire. From first to second time climbing it you evolved by a lot if it appeared so much easier. Impressive!
I think it's actually called Gonžarjeva peč. Looks harder than Jerm`n.

Hi JSY, another amazing video, thank you for that. When I started climbing on Vie Ferrate my personal dilemma was: should I climb (as much as possible) or use the cable? Well, my opinion was: definitely climbing! Then I attended a course done by mountain guides and the answer was: this is a Via Ferrata so the cable has to be held with one hand at least, climbing with the other hand and, most important, with feet... They said: if you wish to climb that's something else. I was surprised but after a few times going up that way I realized that it makes sense. In fact, often the cable is in positions that don't facilitate the pure climbing (the line up is not thought to be climbed) and the cable itself is sometimes an obstacle. I was wondering what you think about it. Buona montagna! 😊
