Awesome video and what a fun family!!! I could see your son was nervous on one of the platforms so happy to hear they did their best to alleviate all of that! Question, I want to zipline to not only experience it but to help overcome some of my fear of heights, the actual platform that you initially jump off one in the very beginning, do you have to climb a great height to actually get to the platform itself or when you enter the park and walk to the first platform is it already at the height of the first jump. I have less fear about being already high up and jumping then I do to actually be the person climbing. I know it is strange but fears are not reasonable. If you can answer that question I would appreciate it
trayhappygirl Hey! Thanks for the comment. You’re asking me to reach back in memory here... :). From what I recall there wasn’t a climb to the first tower as we were already kind of in top of the mountain so it was all downhill from there. Please understand that you will be zip lining from some high places, my wife was initially terrified and finished. She even did the Tarzan swing towards the end, which you can hear us giving her some grief. Hope you give it a shot and enjoy!
We went in January (winter is dry season). Temp completely depends on where you are. The cloud forests are generally a bit colder and more wet/windy. We also went to Tamarindo and at the beach it was 90 degrees.
Awesome Video! I was wondering, which mount did you use for the majority of the shot while zip lining? Or did you hold onto the camera with a handle. Planning on visiting Costa Rica next week, any advice on what go pro accessories i should take? Thanks!
Hey Bobby, hope you have a great trip! Costa Rica was awesome, spent two weeks there. I used a surfing mouthpiece mount, got it on Amazon. I used my GoPro 3 way arm / tripod a lot, especially for the time lapses. Also used a floaty handle, chest strap (for horseback riding), and head strap.
I was looking for fun zip lines in costa rica and this looks like a fun option
Mashallah awesome video
the last part is cool lol
I did it the 3.47 was the best part

how long was it
I honestly don't remember but it took us quite a while to get through all the ziplines. It was beautiful and the last line was 1 kilometer :)
Did you guys do the tarzan swing?
We did the rope swing at the end.
How fun. @@CreativeLifeMemories
Why so many clothes? It looked like the boy was shivering. Was it cold?
It's up in the mountains and was a bit chilly, windy, and rainy the whole time. He was shivering because he was a little nervous about ziplining ;)
Weather in Monteverde is typically about 65 range. I was chilly when we were there, and that we in Aug.
Did u go in winter and was it cold
