Farmers’ Express Road Project Inaugurated: Upgraded Infrastructure to Boost Local Agriculture PT 1

The Farmers’ Express Road Project was inaugurated this morning in the Banana Bank area, Cayo District. It is a project that has seen upgrades and improvements in road infrastructure, primarily for the roads used by farmers in the Valley of Peace and surrounding farming communities. Minister of Infrastructure Development, Julius Espat is also the Area Representative for Cayo South, who says these road works will indirectly contribute to the local produce and prices countrywide. Minister Espat indicated that the six and a half miles were upgraded at an estimated cost of three point six million dollars.
