We should have all stopped paying attention to PFF when they said that Webb was better than Bushrod and Shea was better than Peppers. They are clownshoes. As long as none of the grades were passing that's the best you can hope for. Neither OT should be in the upper half of OT's, none of the OL should have been in the upper half of the OL.
@@Deeny23 Braxton was every bit as bad. If your an nfl tackle you cannot be getting beat consistently by a bull rush. Prerequisite is at least having a solid anchor to start. He doesn’t have one he gets put on roller skates by every de or edge. The question should be are you quick enough and long enough at this level.
@@blankname6629 agreed! i just think the center is the most impactful part of the line and it starts with him. in reality we are comparing two dumpster fires 😂
This is like a scientific experiment to prove that either pff grades mean jack shit, or the media that berates all these players actually know jack shit.
Not a fan of pff..and their grades. We just see the scores and dont even know criteria. I.E. what if your running duo..double teams..and you allow an edge player a free release..as a Tackle and he makes the play downfield..are you downgraded as a run blocker?
Every play, for every player is individually graded by guys that are former NFL position coaches, front office execs, scouts, etc. They understand these things upon grading.
Quit making excuses that you didn’t make for JF; you guys drafted the wrong guy which was Daniel’s who was amazing last night over 200 yards and 3 TDs and has yet to turn the ball over
@@angrymonkey8199 OK so why is he 3-0 with the Steelers and seems to be getting better and coach clueless couldn’t coach him up and get him better just like he can’t do anything with 18 who has trouble with accuracy
@@robertbyington7715 I haven't watched every play from the Steelers, but let's not pretend he has been amazing. He has struggled quite a bit at times, but yes, he is coming off a good game. He did that sometimes with the Bears too. Either way, I want him to do well. It benefits the Bears to get that 4th round pick. The coaching appeared to be bad for JF here, but he also had problems with accuracy and reading the field. Caleb has played 3 NFL games now and made *small* strides in each. I will give him some leeway for now, just like JF got for 3 seasons.
@@angrymonkey8199 Don’t disagree but again 18 was not the number one pick it should have been Daniel’s was my biggest point and the local sports reporters said he was the next Mahomes. If you watched the Commanders game Daniel’s was amazing and 18 has been average at best
lol. That was enjoyable to watch. I hope the whole O line staff/players watch it too.
Man up boys.

PFF screwed up grading the oline this week. Braxton was clearly the bears worst offensive lineman this week
nope. center missed many blocks and also ruined many lanes for the running game. just watched an all 22 breakdown and man its bad lol

Shelton is bad
Bears have an Softvensive line

Conclusion: Both are true.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Media just talk for living but have no clue. Even past players like waddle.

Bears same old story. We need a new head coach
Pff is a baseline.

Nobody made excuses for JF? Seriously?

It's early days. Some of the greatest QBs of all time didn't hit the ground running out of the gate and some QBs that did weren't able to sustain it.
