An actual suit of armour around the world who did help stop Thanos as Tony originally hoped? I liked the movie overall but one thing I didn't like was that it made the ending of Wandavision seem irrelevant and made Wanda irredeamable forever. I know the post-credit-scene of WV built up to this already but at the end of the last episode it seemed like Wanda could get over her loss and had accepted that it was wrong what she did and then she snaps like that epiphany never came and does things so far worse that this version of Wanda will never be a plausible hero or even anti-hero again.
People say it makes her irredeemable but who said she had to be redeemed? Also who sets the parameters for what is irredeemable? She’s coming back either way.
My theory is that at the end of WV she had no idea about the multiverse and truly believed that her children were only a figment of her imagination. The only way she would be with her boys is to hurt people again for something that isnt real, and she would ultimately be fooling herself and never truly living in reality. But when she found out about the multiverse and that dreams were windows to other dimensions, she had the epiphany that she wasn’t ‘that’ crazy, and her fantasy is actually a reality for every other version of her. Almost as if she was robbed of her boys and her creating WestView was a sign (I believe the movie implies she’s mad at Strange for this in the same way the guy at Christine’s wedding blames Strange). So she sets out to find ways to travel dimensions so that she can live the life that she feels like she deserves without doing another WestView scenario, and to not hurt anyone anymore. Her first-choice was America’s power since there would be no harm done to anyone else besides herself/other Wandas, and America. But its said throughout the movie that the sacrifice of America could be for the greater good as long as it is in the right hands, and I’m sure Wanda feels like she fits that job. Once she gets the Darkhold, I think that’s where she gets to that point of irredeemability you’re talking about because the book was corrupting her mind. She still has that same goal to just be with her kids, but her morals and values have changed because of the ‘dark hold’ the Darkhold has on her. She goes on murder sprees because she’s hyperfocused on being with her boys no matter what and blindsided to the destruction she causes in the process.
@@Classypup Wouldn’t the use of the Darkhold run counter to the whole unredeemable argument, since that was an outside corrupting influence? In any case, maybe the boys making this and the X-Men movies (and comics) need to find a new favorite thing to do with powerful women characters. What percentage of very powerful women superheroes have gone off the rails and what percentage of male superheroes have done the same? Why, one might almost think they only give women characters that level of power to push some dangerous narrative that women can’t handle power. Considering all that Wanda’s suffered since she was a young child and all she’s done to save the world several times, I personally find her totally redeemable, but that’s my personal choice.
I can get that viewpoint. But I rewatched WandaVision before seeing MoM. Then this line stood out to me right be4 she leaves Westfield, Wanda tells Monica “I don’t understand this power, but I will” …. Foreshadowing the dark hold and the ambition to find her children. I loved this movie with every bit we got. I just cannot wait top see the deleted scenes and concept arts for this movie. Rami’s original cut had 40mins more than what we got 🥲
Of course she didn't actually die because after the so called death she was in another universe destroying a darkhold without even knowing where it was located in that universe
I'm not sure if she improvised the line, but I think she meant she definitely improvised the emotion of getting hurt by one of the things they threw at her and letting that real anger come out. Every parent can relate though, and every child can remember when one of their parents at least at one point snapped in anger. Thanks btw for reminding me of what she said. I definitely remembered the moment, but I forgot exactly what the exchange of words were.
I love that Sam Raimi has been given another chance to direct a Marvel movie. I was wondering how it would work out with so many characters in such a short runtime, but Raimi made it work so kudos and great movie!
Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Cumberbatch were great, but Wanda got a kind of a raw deal. I actually though from watching the trailers that there were three Wandas in this movie, the mom Wanda, the evil Wanda, and the good Wanda from WandaVision. I can understand why Olsen would have a problem with Wanda [SPOILER ALERT] killing human beings so wickedly. After being so contrite at the end of WandaVision, it doesn't quite make sense for her to be so OP evil. Yes, she should have been given some form of advancement.
I believe she is a good character, that’s why her outfit changed drastically from WV! I just wished we seen the creator of the dark hold or least touched more on it. Looking forward to the deleted scenes and concept art

We saw the movie and IMAX 3D! Did a spoiler review on the UA-cam channel. She was definitely my favorite part of the whole film. Love how bloody vicious and utterly gorgeous she was. 😍😁💙🙏
Lizzie is right, because of what happened in WandaVision it allowed fans to sympathize with her in MOM and allowed her to be more of a compelling villain. Wanda's drastic change in MOM makes sense because of WandaVision and I don't know if fans would have liked her being a villain as much if the events of WandaVision didn't take place
Agatha never told her the darkhold corrupts. The only thing Wanda heard was it was the book of the damned and that there was a whole chapter devoted to her. That was it.
Agatha read the book, Agatha was being controlled by Chthon. The Darkhold is the only way to master chaos magic, as there are no other books and no sorcerers who use it.
I'm so happy that she wants to return as Wanda, because I love Wanda, and she's a very popular character so Marvel would be crazy not to have her back, and since Elizabeth is also on board with it, there's a good chance it might happen!
Sending those creatures after her instead of myself was mercy. And in spite of your hypocrisies and insults, I have begged you to safely get out of my way. You have exhausted my patience. But I do hope you understand. That even now. What's about to happen. This is me, being reasonable.
She was so beautiful and powerful in that movie , I don’t understand why they even bothered to fight her . I would just get down on my knees and worship her
That's basically impossible since that's not a priority for the character's arc. She has connection to White Vision, Billy and Tommy, Magneto(maybe). All those connections and she's just put side to Kang the Conqueror?
Lizzie assumed we will turn our back on Wanda after everything on Wandavision. Try and lose as much as her, where her biggest sacrifice was insignificant and see how she *is* being reasonable by being so laser-focussed on getting her children back. If she has been indifferent or not angered, that is more concerning and less reasonable.
For the first time, she makes me wanna rooting for the villain. I want her to take America’s power and have her happy ending somehow 😂😂. Good job, Lizzy! Wanda Maximoff should be back to MCU movies!

Every parent can relate though, and every child can remember when one of their parents at least at one point snapped in anger. Thanks btw for reminding me of what she said. I definitely remembered the moment, but I forgot exactly what the exchange of words were.
She was incredible. A villain unlike any other in the MCU.
I felt similar, like if the movie was like 15-30 min longer and we got some Wanda transitioning time that would’ve helped
I believe she is a good character, that’s why her outfit changed drastically from WV! The film right off the back shows our Wanda is corrupted by the dark hold and has set her goal/mission to capture Chavez. I just wished we seen the creator of the dark hold or least touched more on it. Looking forward to the deleted scenes and concept art
@@komarbat23 we should have seen longing for her kids day in and day out, trying to recreate them and it not working, trying other things to get/have her kids again, and thus slowing losing her mind to BOTH depression and the dark hole
It don’t understand what’s not to understand? She had the Darkhold, the Darkhold influenced her to do eve up things 💀
@@legitonejc plus WandaVision took place a few weeks after Endgame which is like late October/early November 2023 and MoM takes places after No Way Home which ended in December 2024 so Wanda has had the Darkhold for at least a year so she has had time to read and be corrupted by the Darkhold at that point.
She was incredible in the movie. Definitely her best performance ever.
We know that Scarlet witch it's not dead I mean It was really like cut off her story also we just have a little pf wanda as the Scarlet witch
Elizabeth Olsen stole the movie out from underneath everyone.
Lizzie I'm here to hear u talk for 10 years straight if you want, I hope some day we could meet and have a really nice talk
“I was supposed to kill more “ Omggg🔥
Well damn I hope we get the original cut where she kills more! 😈
We saw the movie and IMAX 3D! Did a spoiler review on the UA-cam channel. She was definitely my favorite part of the whole film. Love how bloody vicious and utterly gorgeous she was. 😍😁💙🙏
"Stop it!!" was not acting then 😅
I love that she’s not tiptoeing around the fact that she’s coming back 🤌🏻
The fact that people actually think her character is dead… hilarious
Who thinks that?
Multiverse Of Madness for Mother's Day?
It was all about MOM.
I'm forever a wanda apologist
"i was supposed to kill more" - lizzie 2022
Wait so who else was she supposed to kill?
Im not sure the only thing I know is that she tried to kill America Chavez
Let's be real, it would be a lot weirder if she didn't come back. This is *the* Scarlet Witch we are talking about
There's no way the MCU would turn such a beloved character into a villain and then kill her off.... There a redemption arc coming
She started out a villain and when she was a hero she was really bad at it. Also, not that popular of a Marvel Character.
The fight back against Chthon. She's the only one who can beat him.
She was warned not to read the book. Agatha warned her.
She wanted her children back so bad, she didn’t care.
Agatha never told her the darkhold corrupts. The only thing Wanda heard was it was the book of the damned and that there was a whole chapter devoted to her. That was it.
@@davidmacgregor4281 yea ..she wanted to learn more about her mythic legends but ended up being corrupted...
@@Mugg_007 she was doing what Agatha told her to do, learn
Agatha read the book, Agatha was being controlled by Chthon.
The Darkhold is the only way to master chaos magic, as there are no other books and no sorcerers who use it.
Oh she’s not going anywhere! That’s for sure! Probably one of the most complex and compelling characters of the entire MCU
The fact that Elizabeth Olsen screaming at child actors was improvised- i don't know how to feel but WOW
I watched it in the other day. The Scarlet Witch is my queen of favorite 😍😍🔥🔥
I'm so happy that she wants to return as Wanda, because I love Wanda, and she's a very popular character so Marvel would be crazy not to have her back, and since Elizabeth is also on board with it, there's a good chance it might happen!
THE MOST POWERFUL BEING IN THE MULTIVERSE.....WONT COME BACK?????
Sending those creatures after her instead of myself was mercy. And in spite of your hypocrisies and insults, I have begged you to safely get out of my way. You have exhausted my patience. But I do hope you understand. That even now. What's about to happen. This is me, being reasonable.
Pls when what red glow went off when the boulders collapsed I say The scarlet witch protected herself or something like that…
Them: What you feel about killing the illuminati?
Wanda: I was supposed to kill more. :O
She's such an amazing actress. I cannot understand how she made it work soooo freaking well. She made me cry in this new movie
Wanda becoming a villain with horror movie references was what makes this film one of my favourite in the MCU.
Wish we had this same love to the antagonist on Love and Thunder as we had on this movie, seeing Godbutcher actually butchering Gods would be awesome
She was so beautiful and powerful in that movie , I don’t understand why they even bothered to fight her . I would just get down on my knees and worship her
I tried but i couldn't help but to support wanda throughout the whole movie idk💀
I actually love Wanda as a villain more than I did as an Avenger. So, I do hope that they bring her back as maybe an ally to Kang the Conqueror.
That's basically impossible since that's not a priority for the character's arc. She has connection to White Vision, Billy and Tommy, Magneto(maybe). All those connections and she's just put side to Kang the Conqueror?
They should’ve allowed her more passes on the script. Seems like her problems with the story are the same ones I had.
After watching the movie. I'mma simp for her. Aside from her looks, the way she acts is just too catchy 💯
Love Lizzie's little jab at the end. she don't wanna do the same arc a third time LOL
Scarlet Witch's solo film is definitely happening
Lizzie assumed we will turn our back on Wanda after everything on Wandavision. Try and lose as much as her, where her biggest sacrifice was insignificant and see how she *is* being reasonable by being so laser-focussed on getting her children back. If she has been indifferent or not angered, that is more concerning and less reasonable.
“I knew I was gonna be in doctor strange, but at first, I thought I was gonna be in like an ensemble thing” girl so did we all lol
Best Marvel villain ever.
just bring her back already i dont wanna wait for 2 years
She was the Best in the movie! Great movie also
Why does the actual host of the interview have severely worse video quality than the guest?
They better bring her back!
Chthon has made sure everyone Wanda is close to dies.
So we know that Chthon regards Clint as an utter irrelevance.
I absolutely love that every comment I see is Stanning Elizabet & Wanda! She's such a beautiful and graceful human being
She's probably one of the best villains The MCU has had
If 6 yrs ago you told me wanda would be the scariest villain of the mcu i would not believe you lol but here we are
even elizabeth olsen knows they did wanda dirty during 01:01 ... she's trying to just word things in a positive light.
It would be the biggest waste not to see her character again
Wow so her stop it scene to the actors Billy and Tommy were improvised when she got hit in the face hard.
For the first time, she makes me wanna rooting for the villain. I want her to take America’s power and have her happy ending somehow 😂😂. Good job, Lizzy!
Wanda Maximoff should be back to MCU movies!
I’m team Wanda FOREVER 😍🙌🏻👑 She deserves a chance to redeem herself. She’s been through so much, it’s just NOT FAIR!
The story about the scream was fun.
I can't watch marvel movies without scarlet witch, doctor strange and thor
This movie really should've been from scarlet witch's perspective
Oh no so she admit wanda manipulated the audience to support her side, no wayyyy weve been hypnotized for real
Elizabeth did an outstanding job in the Doctor Strange 2 movie, honestly my favorite MCU character😍
Uhh yea she’s coming back
Conflicted who, team wanda all the way
She's great actress 🙌
I bet she is scary when she is actually mad lmao
3:00 knowing this, i will always cry watching that specific scene 🥲
"little people that i love" awwww
MOMMY
We ALL hope you're back Lizzie!!!!!
Her goal worked cause i was high-key rooting for Scarlett Witch to win. 💅
She done a incredible job with playing Wanda/Scarlet Witch!
