Have not been able to find any Series 1 mega/monster boxes in any local Walmarts or Targets or Best Buys. So I have bought lots of blasters, hangers and a few fat packs. Multiple Elly, Carter and Dominguez base cards and a lot of parallels, so it’s been fun.
I got a case of blasters. 12 Elly base, JD 10, Carter 10. I got an Elly Blue and holiday flowers, ‘89 version, JD bunnies, blue Soderstrom, etc. I did get two heavy lumbers, Harper and Jazz, Adley orange foil. Julio HFA. Lots of good stuff.
Very new to card collecting, it’s just really interesting and I mostly just like it for the fun 😁 Well I bought my first box yesterday (hanger) and pulled an Elly rookie card (base)!!!
You’ve got the market cornered on the GOAT HFA cards 😂 I don’t mind the Stars cards, but agree they need to back off on how many they insert into packs. Picked up 2 blasters and 2 jumbo packs from a Walmart I pass on my way home from work, so I’m anxious to rip into them.
I pulled a 1989 Jackie Robinson numbered 79/89 and its white border and I dont see any other white border numbered Jackie’s on ebay so far, its almost as low numbered as the gold version which is to /75 I find that kinda strange
Don't think you can go wrong with any retail format due to the exclusive parallels and other parallels not exclusive to hobby. Seen hobby and jumbos with one or two numbered parallel, so not the best value for your buck. Agreed, seems like both Dominguez and Elly are tough to pull in retail as if they intentionally short-printed them in retail formats.
I think the stars of MLB are okay cards. If they only made the chrome version and you only pulled them at the rate you pull the chrome people would like them…or at least not despise them. I do agree it’s hard to pull Elly, Domínguez seems hard too. Wonder if they short printed them? Let the conspiracy theories begin.

I think the stars of the MLB are dope!!!
Found mega boxes at an LCS in Myrtle Beach on vacation, and he had them $40 flat. Also, blasters for $20.
What is LCS?
Never mind I got it. Local card shop
Ah, unarmed robbery, a lot cleaner like that 😂🔥🤙🏼
Sweet rip😊. Hangers are bangers ❤. Thanks for sharing
Stay safe
Hangers are bangers but I really like the 89 foilboards.

I'd be interested in the Celebration of the Kid Griffey jr. set.

I pulled two nice Ellys out of base packs and blaster boxes
Always enjoyable!
Three Randy HFA. Those odds are going to be astronomical. Also, that means I won't find any Randy's at all. Thank a lot man. LOL
Are autographs and relics only in Jumbo And Hobby? Or is it possible to Hit Them in every format ?
That Cutch 😍
I haven't been out to my local Walmart yet and I don't know when I will. I don't have any money until really next month March 3rd
Randy is my pc player! Everyone gets all a Randy! Yay!

Stars of MLB are awesome! Are they the next Kabooms?! YOU DECIDE! Very collectible!
Megabox is solid. Could do without the Stars of MLB. Just way too many. Seems like the GOAT follows you.
