We are not multicultural. If you are European and came live to Poland we were raised up in one of the countries which share same set of values and build up on it. Multiculturalism means that you mixing difrent cultures who have totally difrent approach to many things in life and they are totally differently organised.That is why some cultures can live in democracy and some do not know how to do it. As a 5th generation Texan, I find the reference to Poland as being the Texas of Europe curious. I was in Krakow last May. I had a conversation with a guy very enthusiastic about TX and learned there was a local guy that had done a series about TX in Krakow. My Polish is shabby (and that's a compliment), but through translation with a friend, I felt maybe there's an ideal that's not accurate about us. I could be wrong. However, it made me more curious to hear this reference and it's something that be interesting for me to chat about further with anyone interested in talking about it.

I can never understand people leaving Ukraine and Lithuania for Poland. Once we were one commonwealth and clearly neither of you wanted to be in the union with us anymore, so why are you coming here? You have your own country that you wanted as you wanted to separate and still that's not enough? If I would be in power to close borders except illegal aliens from Africa and middle east I would close them for the Ukrainians because of the UPA support and mass immigration to Poland and Lithuania for bullshitting Polish minorities. It's a Danish accent. Plenty of Danes (if not most) speak with such an accent in English and it is pretty much how they speak in Danish except for it being a different language. Danish sounds a bit like a drunken version of Swedish (or another comparison I've heard is Swedish spoken with a potato in the mouth).

The whole idea of someone claiming I'm European and whatever actual nationality being secondary is preposterous. You would never hear a Vietnamese say: I'm Asian. Kolega czegoś nie zrozumiał. Kultura ukraińska jest podobna do polskiej kultury, obie się też przeplatały w historii. Tego nie można porównywać z kulturą arabską. Jedyne co łączy te trzy kultury to to, że wspólnie z Ukraińcami broniliśmy naszych ziem przed inwazją Osmanów.

It's a Danish accent. Plenty of Danes (if not most) speak with such an accent in English and it is pretty much how they speak in Danish except for it being a different language. Danish sounds a bit like a drunken version of Swedish (or another comparison I've heard is Swedish spoken with a potato in the mouth).
