Granted, mom and dad also gave me a stack of low-value games, but I was very annoyed that they intercepted my package and wrapped it, when I was checking for it daily.

What made it truly exceptional though, was the fact I'd idly walked into that room previously that morning waiting for them to wake up, and i somehow hadn't noticed the console in there. It was like my parents had done a magic trick, it was great.
