Definitely worth getting a PFI on the job. I wanted to get fitter so I could ride. With Yoga and a PFI my fitness level doubled in 4 weeks. At £20 per 45 minutes that is better value than trying to buy more gear for my bike to go quicker. I've done 4 sessions and the improvement is huge. I'm more tired in 45 minutes than I am doing an entire day on the bike. In 6 months I'll be fitter at 45 than I was in my 20s.
If you don't have access to this equipment, a good way to exercise the muscles used in mountain biking is to get hold of some kind of metal frame you can balance on. If you can find one with wheels attached that's a bonus, and to make it really effective I would recommend riding the whole thing down a big hill.
love it, but unfortunately dont have most of the equipment, so will have to improvise my own circut. Love the handlebar roll excercise, will have to make one of the up.
quikc question. How does this fit in with actual riding, can you do this is in the morning then ride after work say? how many times a week should you do this?
*Loving my bike>>>**ur2.pl/1144**. It was quite easy to assemble, no issues at all. I followed a UA-cam video about assembling it and that helped a lot. Only small issue is that moving it around is a bit of a drag because you can only bend the bike to a certain angle to be able to move the bike around, which to me isn't the best angle since i have to be constantly moving it. Wish the wheel was a bit larger or situated further back so one could bend it further out and make it easier to move around. Other than that, i have no issues.*
Guys it's awesome but the handlebar twist isn't easy to replicate in all gyms. Do more excercise that can be done either at most gyms (typical olympic weights) or at home. Not one where I need to drive 2h or buy stuff for my home
A few dumbells and/or kettlebells and a medicine ball and you can do hiit training that'll put you on your backside after 30 mins. That will give back at least three fold on the hill.

Eh. This stuff is good. But with limited training time people should stick to the basic strength stuff like deadlifts, squats, shoulder and bench press and pull ups. Most bang for the buck for the average rider getting stronger.
Excelente rutina.
Muchas gracias por compartirla.

And I thought the trip to the fridge and back for another beer was a workout

Great work out chaps. Can you substitute the gym ball for the trx system?
Amazing training workout...
Works just like it's supposed to 😊

The mini skateboard just made me laugh haha
impressive! Neil looks like Nino
Evercises are the key
I've been investigating exercises for the elderly and discovered a fantastic website at Seniorcises (google it if you are interested)
How you doing buddy? 'This is pretty difficult'............poor Neil haha
This is good stuff. Lots of core. But no squats or deadlifts? Figured some leg strength is good.
We can't give all our secrets away in just 1 video, watch this space, plenty more to come!

Norbert Korzus be creative it's a rope and a broom handle
You could make one in 10 minutes
Just do wrist curls & extensions with a light dumbell. It's literally the same thing.
Who does it say in the begin evercises
How do I warm up?
Keep it up Neil and someday you'll have guns like Martyn! 😉
At 1:52 Neil shows off his ventriloquist act
Very upper body and core focussed. I maybe wouldn’t call it the “ultimate circuit” without some compound leg movements like squats, lunges or hinging.
I'd also add some box jumps too...
Awesome vid but probably want to check the dictionary for evercises
8 Eversises?
whats the model for your nikes??
They are the "Air DonTheHuge's"
Let this be a thing gods of MTB.
it's not gonna be a good tomorrow for Neil
can get a printout of exercices.
Something's missing..... Ah yes! "Butt tight! Butt tight! Butt tight!"
after doing this you will be ready to tackle the bears downhill...
I did this last Friday. my forearms still hurt. its monday
Lol what do you mean by evercises
8 x Evercises
toughest evercises exer 😂
FBI don't even impose that to talibans in Guantanamo.
2nd?
+Calum Henstock no
Shame I need so much equipment to do this circuit, I'd rather spend that money on bike parts instead of a gym membership or the equipment
All good if you have access to loads of good gym equipment. How about a workout for poor people who can't afford a gym membership
01phantomx Go get on the traiks, see whatbhurtd the next day, and do those specific excersizes!

This is not for you if you want to keep those pasty white mtb arms.
It's a place to poop in the woods.
