Jane, I enjoyed your video as a fountain pen lover and amateur watercolorist.I think your demonstration of pen strokes is how drawing should be explained. Too often artists assume we know how to get a certain effect without explaining the how to. You gave us the "how to." Kudos to you.👍👍👍👍
@@janeblundellart I can imagine. Weathered and old subjects can be interesting, but I still have some way to go before I can fully appreciate them as a painting subject. I do appreciate them as photography subjects, though.
Goodness! That is just wonderful! Also love the textures in the background!
I LOVE it ! And the background is steller, exciting. Inking is BEAUTIFUL. THANKS
Lovely piece. I like how the watercolor blocks in the background look modern and balance your composition.
Incredible textures and composition.

Amazing texture.❤
Stunning piece. Hope to see more of these videos. So inspiring. ❤
I haven't always filmed the process, but I have many in-progress photos of most of my work that could become a short video...
Thanks for showing your process. The result is lovely.
My pleasure
I love your line work!
Thanks 🙂
Not many people paint dried/dying flowers. I’ve only seen one or two other artists do it.
I enjoy finding the beauty in the less obvious - rust, dried leaves or flowers, ancient wood...
