- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are doing a sabotage race! We have 5 minutes to build a base vehicle. Then we get to sabotage each other's vehicles by making 1 single change or addition. Then we race! After that we have 1 minute to try to fix our sabotaged vehicles. Then the process repeats!

Idea for next video: Hide the defect
Everyone builds a vehicle with a certain number of problems ( kinda like the sabotages), then everyone drives each other’s vehicle and has 30 seconds to find and fix the issue.
No test driving the vehicle ( getting into the seat), so you can really try and hide those problems.

I feel like 30 seconds isn't nearly enough time, you'd need at least a few minutes. They had a minute to fix 1 issue here, and they knew what it was, so 30 seconds to fix multiple issues they don't know doesn't make much sense to me.
Man this would be great, i think the time constraint is important , they need to feel pressured to find the gremlin fast

Yeah you’re probably right. that was really just an example, the concept doesn’t change. I should have put “ a certain amount of time “ or something like that
This concept has a lot of life left in it for different vehicle and race types. I think it'd be fun to do the same thing as this again except no repeats of the sabotages from this time. Having to be more creative when sabotaging will be amusing

I feel like Scrapman should've solved the refinebot issue by adding more wheels to the back, instead of adding more weight.

Moonbo literally guarded against people sabotaging his engine. very smart Moonbo. well done. what is not smart is no one actually thought of sabotaging engines. that'd be the go to. disconnect the engine number 1, reverse steering number 2, put the seat backwards 3.

They should do a junkyard build race. Where junk parts are scattered all over the map. They get a basic vehicle (which they cant use it or its pieces in actual race) each with what they can search the entire map for parts and then once they find it they get a build time and then race with it. I use to love those Junkyard war series as a child. Wish they did this it would be so fun to watch the Scrap Mechanic version of that. ( I know they have done something similar in past. But parts spread across the map with limited time to gather is somewhat fun)

I have watched all multiplayer Mondays, followin this series for years. It is so nice to see another race again! Hide and seek maps are fine, but I definitely missed the old format.
Nothing beats scrap mechanic multiplayer! Especially with the OG members of it. I hope we get to see other types of sabotage races too!

a real similar idea to this could be sabotage chicken. Everyone starts with the same base vehicle, and take turns choosing a sabotage that is applied to everyone. So you have to balance finding a sabotage that will mess with people without ruining it for yourself

A fix for scrapmans refine bot problem would be to add a wheelie bar. The weight on the front is a good fix though

I feel like you should do a part two where you get to build something with a specific amount of blocks that gives your opponent a disadvantage or becomes an annoyance or just does something that makes your opponent have a slightly worse time AND you can NOT no matter WHAT test if your sabotage does what you intend it to do OR attempt to modify it to make it function better if it doesn’t work when your opponent tests the vehicle

What if you made a starter car and the building phase is about making a segment you are adding, then you race, create a new addition and randomize who gets which 1st gen car to add his addition.
Like evolution but you only create the evolution and its applied to a random car
w concept.
You should do the same kind of race with other vehicles, it could be really fun to see how you would sabotage each other's wallclimber, boat or maybe even some attack vehicles
an idea for your next trail makers vehicle, transformer fight! like, a car/plane/boat fight, where the vehicle can shift between each vehicle at the push of a button, and you fight w/ these vehicles (day 2)
Hey scrapman,can you do a game where you have 2 teams,and each team have a base that protect a core inside the base,and each team have defender and attacker.if the core get destroyed,you lose
Defender job is protecting tue base and the core from taking damage,and attacker job is attack the enemy base and destroy the core.

you should build a gyroplane without upward trust, maybe only forward propellers, and find out if it works in trailmakers! what about a gyro boat helicopter without engines dragged by another boat?
Maybe try a challenge where you build the worst vehicle possible that still functions as a vehicle. The vehicle would need to still be driveable and work correctly, so maybe you would have to complete a short test drive and prove that it works and doesn't disable itself somehow. Then swap with the others who then try their best to win the race and get the best time, and the vehicle that comes last is the winner. Each vehicle would be swapped to all the other players, and the best time time they get (or worst) on that particular vehicle is the time used to prove how bad it is. You could then do something similar to this video, where the others are allowed to make improvements to your vehicle before they race it.
