Love this. Got an ATX supply gathering dust on my shelf, but I think I'll mount the pot so it's accessible from outside, as sometimes a higher 15V output is handy for desulfation purposes. The simplicity of this build is just nothing short of elegant.
Yes, my friend, this is the way to do it right. 12 Volts is not enough to charge a Battery. I am always amazed at the enginuity of the Indians. I have spent 2 years in India and they have always fixed my electronics. Even special requests. Like, I wanted a separate Volume control just for my subwoofer. The guy licked his finger and started touching the legs of the chip inside, and it took him one minute to figure out where to install a pot. meter. I was amazed. No one in the USA can do a thing like this. And he charged me like $10.

It is a good idea during the war that we cannot find proper chargers with a proper controller. If the current is too large, the battery will overheat and lose some water and etch the Lead cathode. Not a good idea for daily life.
@@Electronic_For_You It needs a microcontroller that controls the amperage and charging voltage depending on the voltage state of the battery. In many good chargers, it gradually increases and gradually decrease and eventually charge in order of a few mA once it is full.
@@Electronic_For_You No he's really not. If you have an ATX psu in your possession, you're likely a system builder - & even if you're not, this is jr. high electronics project material. No, scratch that - make it 5th or 6th grade elementary school level. If you have soldering iron, a desoldering tool (or hell, just clip the processor leg @ board level so you got enough slack to work with), a few basic handyman tools & an IQ at or above dull normal, this project is well within your grasp.
Another way to get Any voltage 3.3V 5V 12V when need more than 24V 36V is to just use a boost converter, it's simplar than what i showed on video, 😊 Goodluck with your project 💕
The voltage doesn't limit the current or amperage. You can have 5volts doing 15 amps of current or 24volts, 48 volts, 110v at 15 amps etc. I think you mistake what voltage and amperages are and what the difference is. Think of volts as force and amps as the volume. You could have a high amount of volts with little amps or vice versa.
Congratulations. So people with 0 knowledge will try to copy this, obviously without any isolation transformer, happily touching the mains-side heatsink. Which is likely to be live at 1/2 of the time. I see you carefully touch only the low-side heatsink while the unit is connected, but playing dumb music instead of warning viewers about the dangers is not good.

Thanks 😄❤️
Be careful with the caps when doing this, never forget to discharge thous!!

Right. Some SMPS Has no discharging resistors ... Mine has one 👍
Does it remain short circut and overload protection after this type modification?

Wow
Thats so good 👍

DC 12V 10A Switching Power Supply Regulated Transformer can be use for charger bike battery?
Yes but you need to add auto cut-off circuit
@@Electronic_For_You what is it using for? and how?
@@Electronic_For_You if i not wanna using it can? because i only using battery for testing LED and module thing not for bike or car
Ok charge it directly
From 12V yellow and black...
2 hours maximum if you're battery is 7ah
@@Electronic_For_You okay ty for the info
You have done a very good job!
Thank you
From where the outputs are drawn?
Black and Yellow
If the battery is overdischarged, (e.g. 10,8V) you must limit the absorbed current in some way.
Yes, you are right 👍
But the battery will overcharge on 14V it outputs maximum 13V
Why not 13.8v?
You can adjust to 14V maximum 😄👍
Car alternator charges at 14.4 usually and rests lower.
I think 14V is enough for all lead acid batteries
Muchas gracias, he podido sacar 15v antes q la protección se active. El integrado de mi fuente fue sdc 7500.
Don't forget to change the 16V capacitors to 25V
Awesome 💪

Hello
Thank you for your beautiful video. I want to make adjustments between 11V and 14.5V. How can I do it?
If you have knowledge about circuits , then you can modify it as follows,
Nice I did this method with more than 8 pc supply but not success all of supply china made when I connect it with 100 watt bulp in series that work from 4v to 15 but when I connect it with series lamp it shutdown even 12.9v
How to solve this kindly inform me
Try without lamp .....!
AND DON'T ADJUST WHEN ITS LOADED
Without series lamp pc supply shutdown at around 12.9v
No it works very well
If it doesn't work
Then watch GreatScott!s video
He did the same
@@Electronic_For_You i was watch but he say over voltage protection is kick in at 12,5V . How you ride of that ?
I didn't did anything more than what i showed..... Maybe your Powersupply has extra protection

Maybe use a buck converter at output!!!! To control current 🎛️
