Its such a shame that Novak is not able to play those tournaments, he is a pleasure to watch, he bring s up the level of the other players and the tournaments he enters, fans are being robbed of seeing him play when his career will be winding down. Its 2023 fgs!! Its ridiculous. Looking forward to his return.
He´s unvaxxed tho, would risk more lives if he was breathing there than the Ohio derailment and consequent poison cloud easily, so understandable.
It is his decision, not a „shame“ and he is not „robbed“. There are good reasons for the rules. He is free to not vaccinate, but must live with the consequences.

Ruud has been in Rafa's academy, and played exhibition matches with him around the world. Still, it's disrespectful to Novak by not giving him credit in winning Rolando Garros 2021.
both the times djokovic defeated Nadal at the french,Nadal was injured and was not playing at his best,he was losing to anyone not just djokovic.When Nadal is at his best no one in history of tennis can defeat him at roland garros
@@ismaeelbutt7112 Same can be said about Novak's 2016-18 seasons, where Roger and Rafa won titles without him on top form. Also in 2022 he missed slams for vaccination status. We can only look at what actually happened in the end.

Don't forget. Robin Soderling beat Rafa in straight sets in RG, as this took place in 2009. Rafa was in his prime there

10 consecutive losses, 20 consecutive sets lost.

I really feel Casper Ruud should be less of a fan boy over Rafael Nadal. That's really not helpful for him facing Rafa on the court. Maybe learn to take a page from Alcaraz and have some belief on yourself instead of going over and over about how good Rafa is like you couldn't visualize yourself ever overcoming him as an opponent.

Nadal is actually pretty good on grass. Last year he made it to the semi finals despite his foot problems and he made semis in both 2018 (against Novak) and 2019 (against Federer). He has also won wimbledon two times.

it is not excuses 😂 its the truth nadal very clearly had foot problems in that match which is why he played terrible in washington a couple weeks later and withdrew from the us open
