Great video! We went in December and got lost when we got out of the gorge. There was nobody around and we couldn't tell whether we were supposed to go up or straight. We chose up! It was intense hiking up the icy path but the gorgeous biergartens at the top were worth it! Glad we went the "right" way!

Great production value. I have a feeling you’ll be getting a lot more views this spring and summer. You deserve it!

As the Partnachklamm seems to be on the major tourist trail these days, it ca get quite overcrowded. But fear not, there is another Klamm close by, the Teufelsklamm which only the locals use.

Yes! We have noticed that recently. We haven't visited that Klamm though!

Same. I like that visitors can walk inside and above the gorge.

Hey Guys!! great video and awesome scenery....quick questions:
    1. In a 1/2 Day from Garmisch, is it doable to visit the Gorge in the afternoon? Until what time is it open and can you get the lift down the cliff in the afternoon as well? .....
    2. or better to visit the Zugsptize from Garmisch in the afternoon? How much time it take in general to visit this place, takes some photos, beer at the top and go down with the lift as well..? thanks for your comments.

      1. I think Partnachklamm is a great half day trip from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I think the gorge closes in the late afternoon. I'm not sure about the cablecar. I would check the hours on the Das Graseck website. It's their cable car. There is also a path down.
      2. The really big cable cars always close quite early. I think the last one down might be at 3 or 4 pm. I would say the Zugspitze is a little more than a half day activity. If you want to take your time, enjoy the peak, the glacier, and also Eibsee, I would make this a chill full day, followed by dinner in the town.

Is there like a website or something for expat meetups? I wouldn't mind hanging out with some americans and hearing english from time to time

Actually yes. We are actually doing a group day trip from Munich to Partnachklamm in 2 weeks. You can find all the information in r/Munichsocial club if you are interested.
In the past I have used the aforementioned subreddit and meetup to meet other English speakers!
