Thanks for the video; it took me about 20-25 minutes, but it worked. I did notice that you did not replace the sticky strips under the battery. Are those necessary? Now that I've watched your video, I can take this apart and put them in, but only if I have to. :-)

That metal cover that you remove 2.20 min into the video, does it have to be there in order for the phone to work?
