Regarding #1, I can't say I blame the woman. After experiencing a horrible trauma, a woman wants nothing more than for the man she loves to comfort her and support her healing. The fact that he didn't, which would make any rape victim feel dirty and that her boyfriend doesn't love her anymore, seems just as much of a betrayal as her marrying someone else who would comfort her when her boyfriend failed to.
@@rolicemmanuel977 But it was her best friend who hook them up together in the first place. Only to turn away snap him away from her without telling her.

It would show to the husband that he made a horrible choice in his life partner, and it would be just the same if the husband acted the same way, but it would be twice as bad for the wife because it would show how horrible of a person she was/is for betraying my dude🧐😈

Yeah, Erased is 50/50. On one side, he did save her life and livelihood (murderer + abusive parents) so her unspoken debt to him is massive. But on the other hand, their age difference is huge (she was a fifth grader iirc, meaning she was 10yrs old pre-coma, and MC's 30-50yrs old) coupled with her naivete and what 10yrs does to a child. I'd say not a betrayal because neither saw each other romantically and MC's goal was stopping the murderer, not saving Kaho specifically. But I understand feeling indebted (even if the other side doesn't care).
Future Diary is not completely about betrayal. It's a bit confusing with the different timelines and alternate universes. The entire time Yuno was trying to find a way for her and Yukki to be together, but the rules kept interferring. The point of Erased was for the MC to save his mom, by stopping the serial killer, also saving 2 other students who would have died had he not interfered. He and the girl were not in love and he ended up with someone else, or did you forget that. Also that baby is how he got his memories back.

I won't argue the anime only ending wasn't the right call or even that it's a very good evening either, but, the one thing it got right was not having a girl who was freed from despair, allowed to actually have her own dreams and life then turn around and WASTE that life sitting, waiting for someone who-medically-was more likely to never wake up again than he was to come out of it. Nah, I totally agree. It always irks me people get angry about the ending "Because Kayo didn't wait". Kayo.was a CHILD when he ended up in a coma. she was 10, maybe 11 years old. They weren't in love, this isn't a love story. They didn't make any kind of promise. Hell, I'd be more galled if Satoru did start a romance with her then considering he was an almost 30 year old man in his past self's body--he should have no interest in her that way! In fact, IT'S NEVER STATED HE LOVED HER. He cried when he saw her, with her baby, because his memory came back and he realized that even if he lost so much time (which is the part I'm sad for in the ending), Kayo got to live. She lived, she fell in love, she had a baby and he's happy for her. Because Satoru is a good guy who doesn't think the 11 year old girl should've waited to become his waifu. Not only that, but her life was already fucked over by her mother when she was younger and people think she should put her life on hold at 11? Because she's a prize? What SHE deserved was getting to grow up and be happy, and she DID, and Satoru is happy for her! Sorry, got worked up there...
So childish seriously so the life he saved should be wasted waiting not living it . He don’t save her because he was in love with her to begin with he felt regret for not speaking to her that day she dead so he said that if he had befriend her maybe she wouldn’t have dead and from that act he try to befriend her and save her life there is not even a strong romance between them. Yes the ending was not all that but she moving on was the best part . And moreover she was a kid like seriously a kid that just got out of a trauma should have waited for a guy like what does she know about love at that age with all that trauma.
@@BStarlight let me ask you this then , was Hiromi the one who pulled her out of her solitude and loneliness? Or was he the one who saved her from domestic abuse? No it was satoru. @@krrishtandon8029. lol see why I said you are childish. Now, imagine if he had woken up when he was 40 or 50 years old and saw her sitting beside his bed, only to later discover that she had spent her entire life by his side, not truly living it. What do you think he would say? Do you believe he would thank her for waiting for him, or would he want to go back in time and tell her not to waste the life he sacrificed everything for? Think very carefully before you answer me. Sometimes, I feel that younger audiences care more about the romance between the main characters than the actual storyline. That's the saddest thing for any writer. From what you're saying, are you suggesting that she should have waited her entire lifetime and discarded the life he fought so hard to save?
Satoru and Kayo never had any romantic feelings for each other in the first place though. They loved each other, but it wasn’t romantic, it was just a close kinship. Plus, she and Hitomi clearly had quite a bit in common already when they were younger, and he was also one of the villain’s intended victims which was why they were all together so much: so Satoru could keep them safe. He even states in the last episode that all the time he spent in the coma was like his gift to them rather than a ‘sacrifice’. They originally died in 5th grade, but this time they got to live their lives and when he woke up and saw that he achieved what he set out to do (preventing their murders) he was overwhelmingly happy for them. Plus, he clearly had budding feelings for Aya anyway. I actually really appreciated that the cliche “main character ends up with damsel in distress” trope is totally subverted and any kind of romantic subplot was pretty much glossed over because that’s not the point of this story and totally irrelevant to the characters’ end goal.

From what you're saying, are you suggesting that she should have waited her entire lifetime and discarded the life he fought so hard to save?
for me, i feel like Erased's betrayal wasn't so much at her not waiting...its more of the fact that she did it with ONE OF HIS HOMEBOYS!!!
*Airi, not Aya, my bad

Killing bites author should have made the vengeance chapter’s to drag her a** through hell for that betrayal 💢💢💢
