Thank you so much for sharing your favourites Aileen, I always look forward to learning new lessons and getting to know what you’re loving each month! And wow...I am TRULY humbled for simply being mentioned in your video❤️ I was smiling the entire time and almost let out tears of joys from listening to what you said as I’ve never heard anyone say anything so sweet before 💕 Thank you with all of my heart, you are my inspiration too, and I wish you a wonderful time with your dad and grandma in China❤️❤️
Everytime I feel out of place or just low. I go over to your videos and seek for help. I've started seeing changes slowly and I just want to thank you Aileen for being that person, doing what you love and helping people like us who are in need.
Whenever I need to have peace of heart and mind I go to this channel. She has something unexplainable that quiets the storms in my mind. You are an inspiration! ❤
Hi Aileen! I’ve been a follower for more than a year now and let me thank you for the content you make. I suffer from severe anxiety and your videos are always so inspiring and somewhat relaxing that they help me stay motivated and keep calm even if it’s just for an hour. You’re such an inspiration, and I hope one day I can reach your same enlightenment state 💕
I have to assume it’s the universe, but you always say the things I need to hear. Thanks for being a light for me and someone who brings light and value to my life
Whenever i feel sad, I watch your videos and they make me feel so much better. I love your videos, you're an incredible person. Thank you for being so kind.
Hello! I’m in Southern California💗 April was a learning month for me. I started a side hustle and I learned that I can do more even with my already crazy schedule. I also learned that I don’t have one thing I want to do with my life I want to do multiple things. I also prepped and bought a ton of summer clothes for my family vacation to Hawaii at the end of May!🌺🍍🏝 I hope you are well Aileen and have a great time in China!
Aesthetically pleasing. Love it. Your April is so productive and inspiring. 💕 " I am still whole " "I am valuable" I need this affirmations 🌻 Jasmine Lipska is so gorg and goals. 💟
Hi Aileen, always 💗💗 watching your monthly highlights about things that you did & love, music, books that you like and where you went & what you did. Looking forward to watch your apartment tour. Enjoy your holiday in Shanghai with your brother and meeting your Dad & family. I like the pottery making activity...👌🏼👌🏼
My highlight was i concurred my procastination and prepared for this one thing i wanted to do. and it shows amazing result. i was really happy. And that's really actually thanks to you. thanku for motivation and positivity u gives. LOVE U
This is so beautiful and enlightening! I really do miss Michelle Phan videos as well. I love how you support other UA-camrs! I hope when I grow up I can have your sense of self and appreciation for others.
Idk why but your april lesson refering to success made me so emotional and remembered me on what I have to focus on more..thank you so much for your inspo
Hearing you talk about positivity and self worth has really helped me to switch my mindset to a more positive vibe today, thank you so much for always openly sharing your journey!
Michelle Phan was the first UA-camr i ever watched. I really miss her too! She was so good. But honestly once i found your channel, the hole of missing Michelle Phan was filled. This channel is so great too!
Something I learned in April is that it’s okay to change and adjust your habits as times change. Last July I started gratitude journaling every night (inspired by your video actually!). But recently I’ve been getting less and less consistent with this daily habit, however it wasn’t because I didn’t want to but because it became so engrained in my daily thought patterns that I didn’t feel the need to write it every night. Lesson learned: as you grow your habits can too and that’s okay!
I love how you talked about our worth because I was just talking about that today with my husband... the fact that people put “net worth” on people based on their assets, etc. is wrong; not just because it’s morally wrong and that success isn’t measured by money (I think it’s meaningful contribution among other things) but the fact that you could take someone like Steve Jobs for example, take away everything from him, his assets, and the fact he can start over from scratch and no assets just because of his own worth and intelligence and ability to vision and take action, see a need in the world and create something from nothing proves he has worth even if he had no “net worth.” Many times we think we cannot accomplish because we don’t have money that others due, or aren’t perfect and have limitations, well that’s everyone and sometimes those limitations are what make us successful because they make us who we are, give us a story to share than others can relate to. If we had everything provided and perfected for us then there would be nothing to work on, to grow stronger, to share with others and fulfill the needs in the world, be the change we want to see in the world.
N i was the angry, frustrated person till my 30 ... but since i found ur channel n few more it totally changed my perception of life ... im so happy n grateful that i catchup with such nice youtubers
You shine such a bright light on the world and have a beautiful soul. Thank you for your videos! On another note, I was the same, I wasn't always positive as a teenager but that's the beauty of change and growth. It is wonderful to see younger people with positive outlooks now :)
You shine so bright girl! The second if April I signed up for an unlimited yoga pass at my local studio and it’s definitely my favourite thing about April! I’m definitely gonna keep going, FOREVER haha. With the yoga came lots if intention setting and thoughts, so I’ve learnt a lot of different things from myself in that sense. I’m becoming more and more comfortable with my self and I think I’ve finally learned to listen to myself. Ahhh so deep! Other than that I’ve been loving setting up my capsule wardrobe and trying to fins my style. Thanks again for a great video x
so cool that you remember exactly when you started lavendaire! ❤️ You’ve spent the last 5 years growing such an amazing community and platform. lavendaire continues to inspire me! We are all out here cheering you on Aileen!
Aileen, I want to thank you, Your videos and you are having important role in my life, And in this first quarter of 2018 I have finished the following books 1.The monk who sold Ferrari 2.Power of Now 3.The Slight edge 4.What I know for sure 5.The power of vulnerability 6.Life changing Manga of tidying up The Success principles by Jack field and New earth are in the row. Most of the books are introduced by you, Thank you so much for that Aileen, It's love from India❤ Love you so much❤
I love you ❤ so so much ❤ The lesson i have learnt this month is getting rid of what makes my life harder on me like uncomfortabe relationships and saying no to the things that i really don't want to do without feeling sorry cuz its my right to choose what to do in my life right :"D And also i have learnt to focus only on my own progress and try to help other people to progress which makes me out of these competitive relationships ❤
Aileen you are my inspiration. Your voice is so relaxing and you are so positive. I totally get you with the UA-camrs who don't post anything anymore. Michelle was also one of my favorites back in the day! Sadly I'm from Mexico, but if you come here let us know! Have a wonderful day and keep on shining!
jasmine is a very sweet girl like I've been watching her since last year when she had only 10k subscribers i guess and look how the numbers increased drastically but she is the same person i knew from last year.. such a humble and honest, just like you and i can't believe u gave her a shoutout I'm so excited when u mentioned her 😍😍
Lots of love aileen. Ur videos are inspiring. This month I learnt a new molecular technique which is related to my study. I was procrastinating it because of less confidence. Now because of ur inspiration I learnt it by overcoming fear.
Also I forgot to mention a recent favorite! So I've been searching mando-pop primarly because I did go through a k-pop phase but since I'm learning Mandrin now, I want to jam out to some C-pop tunes. I discovered Z.tao who was part of EXO previously and his new solo stuff is pretty good! I've been listening to his album The Road on repeat!
Lavendaire Safe travels in China!! I really want to visit Shanghai one day!! 😊 By the way, what's the best way to reach out to you? Through Instagram DM or...? I wanted to write you an email/letter but it appears that your email on yt is just for business? 🌼
I'm so proud of my girl Jasmine, her channel deserves more recognition, just as yours! Thank you for mentioning her in this video ❤️ I love youtubers who support each other.
Hi Aileen! Beautiful video😍 I loved the part when you talked about being a whole even if we don't have that many material things. I don't know exactly the connection between this two things but it made me realize that everybody is equal. It suddenly became clear to me that successful people are not "gifted" and don't have any special power. They are not superior to anyone. You know, sometimes they can be idealized or a person can think she/he will never be able to be that much successful or happy. But these successful people are not aliens, they are like everybody else, except that they have a different mindset. But we are all the master of our mind, we can build whatever mindset we truly want! We all start our life with a "empty" mind, it all depends what you (and your parents when you are a kid!) decide to fill it with as soon as you are an adult. It's like you, Aileen, have always said this in your videos but I never really understood what it meant. What a strange thing!
I have only watched UA-cam for a couple years (I have a tough time paying attention and I hadn't known about the helpful channels yet, so I thought it wasn't for me. I was wrong.) Actually, your videos were one of the first ones I watched. I remember because I was looking for how to fold clothing the KonMari way, and I kept seeing your videos pop up. So thank you for that :) As for my highlight: my brother got baptised, which was really cool. He's 17. My lesson: I don't remember what I learned in April, but I have come to a realization within the first few days of May, which is that I miss making art and I want to go back. I read The Dip by Seth Godin yesterday, and it all came together. I quit art earlier in life, but it wasn't because I wanted to. I felt I had to in order to survive. When I make art, I don't enjoy being disturbed. At the time I quit the house was extremely noisy/busy, and I was going insane. I gave up my art to sort of harden my heart, and I've had trouble going back to it because it's been several years. I miss it though, and the lesson I've learned is that I *can* go back. It's going to be very hard, but I do want it badly enough. I'm in the dip right now, but this time I won't allow myself to feel I have to stop for practicality's sake. This time, I'm going to get through that dip, and I'm going to change the world with art. I haven't figured out how just yet, but I will get there.
Just discovered your channel, I love it 😊 I love your voice, simplicity and things you choose to talk about (example: zerowaste, psychological vs clock time). Thank you for sharing with us all that ☺ In addition, I improve my english by listening to your video !
We are whole 💞😊 I love it and am so glad you touched on that xo my highlight for April was having lunch and catching up with my aunt and a lesson is to take it one day at a time (still working on the lesson)
Last month I was on a Fall Out Boy Concert and one of the opening acts was MAX. The whole time I was like "I know his voice. Who is he?" - after the concerts I googled and found out that he is Max Schneider: In the past, I loved his cover videos on UA-cam and watched every single one! By coincidence I saw him live 😂 he has a lot of energy and knows how to engage people, it was a really good performance
Another beautiful video❤ My April highlight is that I got an offer letter from a company( in which I was selected almost 2 years back) . I almost gave up on it. But finally I got it ! I've learnt that we need to be patient and continue working hard 😊
I completely relate to what you were saying about missing youtubers from back in the day!! I'm always wondering if my favorite artists from 2008/9/10 are still making music or how vloggers are doing now. Thanks so much for all your beautiful work Aileen
U look gorgeous like always even with pink hair Aileen! 💕 It's a good reminder that we should feel worthy no matter what circumstances we are in. Honestly it's easy to feel down at times especially when there's always things that will be troubling me, leaving me wondered how can I be happy like that. I'm not struggling with trying to be successful (which i think it's quite overrated already) but I just wanted a simple job that I like since I can get stressed out very easily. So I'm trying hard to feel happy despite doing something I dislike. But everyday I'm reminded of how helpless I am since there are many things not within my control, and me making things worse when I tried to take action.. how should we feel happy naturally from our hearts? I feel I'm only more exhausted as days go by.. 😔
look at your world with gratitude. find all the things to be grateful for and you'll start to feel less down and more uplifted. there's more I could share but maybe will do it in a full video
The aesthetic in this video is SUBLIME. 👌 I'll be in Anaheim in June for VidCon so would love to attend a meet-up if sometime around then suits. 😁 Maybe the 19th, or 26th?
Aileen, I would love to meet you! Unfortunately I live in New England 😆 I know it's a little scary but I think you'll have a wonderful time with nothing but supportive people. I love how you've slowly switched over from lavender to a soft rose tone. You are an absolute delight in the UA-cam world 💗
Yep! I sometimes have the same feelings when I watch your videos. While you are very unique in making videos and contents, your voice is soft like hers and your English is very clear for a non-native speaker.
I am glad i came across your videos while i was looking for a good travel camera. I feel you are a wonderful old soul. I have been watching all your videos and am inspired.
Omg I stumble across your channel randomly. & Insistently fell in love. Thank you so much for your Lessons you have learnt past month. It was deep & it's helped alot ! This has for sure motivate me to do better in everything. I've been lacking with motivation alot lately like you say we measure ourselves by how many subscribers & likes we have but what is important our happiness & thank you for sharing that out loud. Thank you x
Hi Aileen! Thank you for the video! I hope that you will have a nice time in Shanghai, wish you a good trip and some quality family time :) Coachella must have been fun, loving your new rings and the artist bracelet! :) I like the pictures in the background too, you have a great sense of style for picking them, I am sure that your room and office look lovely! I have just uploaded my April Favourites as well, I mentioned You and your channel and the Artist of Life workbook in it ;) PS.: I miss Michelle Phan's videos too. Hope that she is doing well.
I really love your videos and your personality. I think you helped me a lot. First time, I found your video in youtube was around mid-June, 2017. Since then, I feel like I become better version of me now. That's your contribution to me (of course, us who watch your videos). You help to people by doing these awesome videos. How cool is that. Best wishes for you!
It's heartening to see you give shoutouts to wonderful UA-camrs 🌹 Jasmine is a lovely soul, who is passionate about languages. Michelle Phan was one of the first UA-camrs I followed, and she captivated me with her Sailor Moon tutorial with her message of empowerment and belief in self. There's so many similarities that I see among all of you beautiful ladies. Personally, I think it would be interesting to have a documentary about the evolution of UA-camrs - challenges they encountered, what they learned previous UA-camrs, and how the online landscape was different from each generation. Lesson from April: There is magic even in the most ordinary of places. I live in a sleepy part of the United States. One afternoon, my friends and I decided to go on a road trip to Brown County, a small rustic area in Indiana. This town was beautiful...Spring in full bloom with flowering trees and tulips, a restaurant that dates back to the Civil War with hearty, home county cooking, artistic shops, horsebackriding and ziplining through the forests, a lively art scene with quaint shops, and surprisingly boba tea in the tea shops. I learned that adventure is always right around the corner if you wish to take it!
The way you spoke of Jasmine is how I feel about you! I am in my 50’s and you are so much wiser😎. I will look up Jasmine. You do a great job!
Thank you so much for sharing your favourites Aileen, I always look forward to learning new lessons and getting to know what you’re loving each month! Hello! I’m in Southern California💗
April was a learning month for me. I started a side hustle and I learned that I can do more even with my already crazy schedule. You’re AWESOME!! I’m from France and I’m learning a lot about myself since I’m watching your videos. They are so motivating. 🇫🇷❤️
ALSO YES ESNA GETTING SOME RECOGNITION!
She is such a underrated musical and vocal queen! I'm so glad that you brought her up! 💕💕
I just love your down-to-earth-ness!!! I don't know if that's a word, but it just feels right to call you that!

Your videos are amazing! I feel like you're my version of how you see Michelle Phan ♥
I completely relate to what you were saying about missing youtubers from back in the day!! I'm always wondering if my favorite artists from 2008/9/10 are still making music or how vloggers are doing now.
Thanks so much for all your beautiful work Aileen
Your hair is so gorgeous! 💖
hehe thanks!
I found you in April and i'm working on making myself a better me now
This makeup perfectly matching these hairs.
i needed this video so much! thank u for reminding that i am worthy and valuable 😭
U look gorgeous like always even with pink hair Aileen! 💕
It's a good reminder that we should feel worthy no matter what circumstances we are in.
Thanks dear, that would be nice if you can make a video about it. I wanna know how I can take care of myself because I'm really bad at this too. 🙇♀️
Plz make more vids like this one! I really enjoyed it 💙💙
As usual I look forward for the next month favourites ....
The aesthetic in this video is SUBLIME. 👌 I'll be in Anaheim in June for VidCon so would love to attend a meet-up if sometime around then suits. 😁 Maybe the 19th, or 26th?
I love 'Some' so much 💕💕💕 eSNa's version sounds so good 😍😍😍😍
I loved esna, jeni suk, and michelle phan too :) So glad you have continued to make videos! Have a great trip in Shanghai
Who else is genuinely confused that Aileen doesn’t have more subscribers
lol thank u, thank u 🙏
All the love from South Africa! Your videos are very good for my soul and spirituality, keep it coming 🙌
😘😘
I really needed this positive energy. Thanks!
Aileen, I would love to meet you! Unfortunately I live in New England 😆 I know it's a little scary but I think you'll have a wonderful time with nothing but supportive people. I love how you've slowly switched over from lavender to a soft rose tone. You are an absolute delight in the UA-cam world 💗
You are such an inspiring person Aileen❤
My highlight of April was winning a scholarship to University and I learned to take care of my mental state before physical state
I miss Michelle Phan too! 😟
right?? 💖she was the OG inspiration to us all
I loved it! Can’t wait to check out some of those channels and your hair is gorgeous in this vid! 😊💕
I love the new color of your hair!

You are my great inspiration!!!
Thank you x
aww i'm so glad you're here
Your hair looks amazing ❤
agree👍
I have just uploaded my April Favourites as well, I mentioned You and your channel and the Artist of Life workbook in it ;)
PS.: I miss Michelle Phan's videos too.
Best wishes for you!
that's so amazing 💫💫
I learned that adventure is always right around the corner if you wish to take it!
aww thank you for your kind words!! Love your April lesson too 🌟
